You did if you claim the timer is your bane
you die from the fire damage, on long floors with a boss at the end you will literally not be able to complete it with that debuff.
Pick talent that reduced the cool down of said hunter heal every 20 focus used
Problem solved
Ah, but you see, there is many wrong things here. You are assuming that the current numbers are whatâs going to go on live. Balance will most likely change between now and then.
Also, so what if youâre just not strong enough? Come back when youâre stronger. Why should you be able to clear 40 floors on the first run? PLUS youâre completely ignoring the anima system we will have that will make resisting those torments easier.
I donât fear it i just see it as a annoyance. And after awhile if i get annoyned enough i stop doing what annoys me.
For me its not even about the loot. The way it had been introduced I would have done it with absolutely zero loot involved or any rewards at all. It was a different style of content more reminiscent of running the huge maze like dungeons back in the day like BRD only this time infinite in scale.
The idea of facing increasingly difficult enemies while getting increasingly powerful was enough of a challenge to see how far I would be able to push. Truth be told I had figured I would end up spending most of my wow time there.
If I could hit pause on the timer and explore everything and go back to the start area and then start the timer, sure I would agree. But as your unable to explore in the AFK area this isnât a solution. As my problem isnât about being able to go AFK.
I had hoped I could run it whenever I wanted, save my progress, invite or join friends when I wanted and then go back to being solo when they logged for the night. But it doesnât sound like that at all now and maybe its my fault for wanting something to different then everything we already have.
No i didnât. You made that lie up to attack a position i never took
âwhat do you mean I canât blindly clear the tower in one go!?!!â
Once again you said you wonât do it because of a timer, meaning youâre incapable of having a timer count down
Suddenly youâre ok with it somehow
I feel like there is -alot- of people just reading the title and not doing a bit of looking into what these âtimersâ actually are.
Canât and wonât mean different things.
I for one welcome our new timer overlords.
It literally is
Or even consider adding an actual OPTION for this instead of putting it in for all.
IdkâŠitâs still in Alpha phase and what not, but to me this just sounds like more of the same, and that Blizzard hasnât learned a thing from all the mistakes they have made.
As for this absurd notion that voicing a dislike for something, @Pouiya specifically, and anyone else who resorts to âwhining about whiners(to throw out some tit for tat)â - the word whining doesnât mean what you seem to think it means.
That is not something that was ever said, that is something you made up in your head and wanted to be true. You expected something completely different with lacking information. Thatâs on you.
Yeah
You canât do Torghast because you refuse to do a timer
Some reason a clock counting down is your bane, therefore you canât run Torghast
FUN DETECTED? TIMER!
FUN DETECTED? CURRENCY TO ENTER!
Until now, I didnât see the problem if the people will wait for the cooldowns to reset. So what? It take more time, itâs a personal challenge, the time spent can worth it or not, so?
Why the timer? I know the answer, farm currency, timer to force you to fail, farm currency, timer to force you to fail, farm currency, timer to force you to failâŠ
Just another time gated content, and youâll need the legendary to go raids and go further on M+, and there we go, all the problems are back to the table, 3 expansions in a row, congrats Blizzard you are a rock star.
So hunter have to use a talent specifically for a random effect they might not even encounter? And what about rogues? Also what if they take some damage from a mob? This already has a ton of balance issues.
Every time someone says this they are wrong. If people like you are giving them a free pass they are going to keep trying to put bad systems into the game that simply waste development time. Blizzard and players were saying not to worry about layering late into classic when world bosses were around and they failed on that. You can see these problems a mile away but Blizzard is focused on a tiny minority problem which breaks the game for the majority. Limit or remove bloodlust if itâs that much of an issue.
I foresee the DH and DK population going even higher.
There are to many thing to balance for me to believe it will go live balanced.
- You have class and spec balance
- Healers and tanks vs dps
- Solo vs Group
- Aoe capped specs vs ones with some abilities without caps
- Randomly generated floors that are different in size
- Randomly generated mobs in positions that may require cc
- Random Bosses with presumably random abilities
- Difference in ilvl
- Difference in skill
And now we are going to put a timer on that? I donât see it being anything other then a disaster.
