Timers added to Torghast

I’ll believe that when I see it. There are no timers for a reason. And the floors above 10 have them for a reason.

Except they are randomly generated maps with different enemy models, different looks, different traps, different ability modifiers, maybe puzzles I don’t know.

Those first ten levels are going to be different then the 11th. Why can’t I explore that one as well?

Right. So it’s just outrage, then. Doesn’t matter if you’re wrong, you just want to be angry.

If your entire point of running torghast is sight seeing, first off that’s not the point of torghast. Second, just run it again then. If you can’t be bothered to push it past 10 because a soft timer with no hard time limit scares you, that’s on you.

I just don’t think you like the responses I give you

You once said you won’t do it because you can’t do a timer

Now suddenly you can because for some odd reason

Even if Torghast was nothing but tracing patterns for turtles

They’ll still rant about the timer

No i’m angry because there is a timer. WoW is not a race. it’s a place to go have fun with out being pressured . If the first 10 floors have all the mats what’s the point of 11 up. Just go get what you can in the first 10 and leave.

There is no timer. There is torments.

  • Torment: Might of the Upper Reaches The might of the Upper Reaches increases Physical damage taken by the target by 1% every 60 sec. This effect stacks.

  • Torment: Mort’regar’s Echoes Remnants of Mort’regar increase magic damage taken by the target by 1% every 60 sec. This effect stacks.

  • Torment: Breath of Coldheart The breath of the Coldheart Interstitia decreases the target’s damage done by 1% every 120 sec. This effect stacks.

  • Torment: Fracturing Forces The Fracture Chambers seeks out new prey, calling forth a Mawsworn Shadestalker every 30 sec while the target is not in combat. These minions have 20% increased health. This effect stacks.

  • Torment: Eye of Skoldus Skoldus’ Eye is upon the target, calling forth Mawsworn Seekers every 45 sec while the target is not in combat. These minions have 10% increased health. This effect stacks.

  • Torment: Soulforge Heat Oppressive heat from the Soulforges inflicts 1% of the target’s maximum health in Fire damage every 5 sec. This effect stacks.

You can put lipstick on a pig, but it’s still a pig.

A Vulpera I can agree with, a rare opportunity indeed

Is a harpsichord and a piano the same?

No. They sound completely different, one is plucked, the other is hit with hammers.

I will run it because it will be required but I won’t enjoy it because it will become a chore. Something I have to do at a pace someone else dictates and thats the point. I play to have fun not fulfull someone elses idea of fun.

And why wouldn’t you want to destroy all the vases to see whats inside, soak in the art which from what I’ve seen is amazing, explore every room on the floor to see whats there?

That is what the MMORPG genera has always been about. Seeing a cave wondering whats in there and checking it out. Timer prohibit that kind of behavior and are therefor in my opinion a horrible addition to MMO’s.

But you still make music on both. So both are musical instruments.

Indeed they are, but would you bring your honda civic to a formula 1 competition?

I agree lol

AKA all punishments for moving slow and taking your time. Thus a TIMER!!!

They could have just linked your cooldowns to your attacks and made it so if you stood still your cooldowns would not refresh until you started attacking again.

Well, the idea of this expansion was interesting while it lasted.

Playing your character to be better is a chore but Torghast is the worst thing you’ll do yet?

How easily fooled are you if a stacking % of health every 5 seconds isn’t a timer? What if you are a hunter or something that has few heal cd’s and that goes over the amount you can heal. There’s literally a debuff clock that would kill you at a specific time that’s a timer.

Call things by what they really are, otherwise hyperboles will get you nowhere.
