the servers are still dog sh1t btw in case anyone at blizzard didnt know
but wont there be queues when TOGC launches?
world of waitcraft?
pay not to play?
It is beyond past-due. Unlock Faerlina and Bene already.
The game is dying. Let people play where they want!
am i missing something here?
Both faerlina/benidication aren’t locked, you can create new characters on new accounts in there.
This is a cop out.
The time has come, and quite frankly long passed, to REMOVE ANY/ALL REALM RESTRICTIONS INCLUDING TRANSFERS!!
If I can CREATE a new character, why in the H-E-DOUBLE HOCKEY STICKS am I not allowed to transfer existing ones???
It makes NO SENSE.
Because even though blizzard has access to every byte of data in WoW, they can’t figure out how to determine if you have an character on the server you are try to transfer to…
No, I’m serious… that’s the stated reason.
The really simple solution is just remove the restriction all together! No need to know how to track/determine any data at all! Just sit back and let us swipe our wife’s boyfriend’s credit card!
won’t that cause all other realms to die?
It is time. The idea of “realms” in 2023 is kind of absurd when you think about it. Just let everyone play with everyone. Layer/Shard/Whatever the heck out of it to make it playable and just have everyone all together. Make the world feel ALIVE and like there are actually massive amounts of other people playing this “MASSIVE” MORPG.
Because of late, it has not been feeling this way. It’s felt on the decline for awhile now. Game needs a some life breathed back into it.
Demographic Data shows that the game currently has 50% of the active player base that it had when Wrath launched and the transfer restrictions were placed into effect.
HALF of the population has fallen off. And yet, 9 months later, we still have these silly restrictions infringing upon and limiting our ability to play the game freely.
It is absurd and needs to be addressed.
agreed entirely
i felt the same way in 2006.
theres a higher chance for queues when ICC drops i doubt it for togc
But even then, why are we waiting around letting servers die / players quit because of the possibility of queue times at a later date in the future??
Of which, will certainly be a small window of time, as has been with all previous times servers have experienced queues. People will lose interest eventually and the queues will subside. They always have and always will.
So Blizz needs to acknowledge the players that are keeping the game alive and let them have autonomy in where they play, with whom, and on whatever characters they please.
I would like the game to feel fluid and easy to play with a large group of others, not disjointed and fragmented as it has come to exist.
you havent seen how they acted last time they had a queue?
There will be no queues for icc, that ship has sailed.
This. Unlock already
