It’s been one month since Classic came out and you know what that means - people aren’t resubbing.
It took me HOURS today to find a group to do the Demetria quest in EPL. I had to pay a healer 10g to get the quest done, it was that bad. And I’m playing Horde on Herod (most popular server).
I can’t even imagine how bad it is for less populous realms, you must not be able to complete group quests ever.
Time to start merging realms?
The problem is very few are on those quests.
When I did it there were groups camping the gate of Tyr’s Hand for her.
blizzard doesn’t want more then 2k concurrent players per server.
I’m not really sure that “Lillard has trouble getting group in EPL” is the triggering mechanism for merging realms. Thanks for letting everyone know what you’re up to.
bro its because most people are only lvl 30 or mid 40s. you are lvl 60 give it time for people to catch up. just because its not ez to find a group doesn’t mean that know body is playing.

From my observations most people are 60. 1/4 people have Epic mounts.
you are delusional. A few days ago before WoW Census got borked less than 1% of my server was 60, and 2/3 were below 40.

It’s just what I see when I’m running around. In lookingforgroup its litreally all ubrs/strat/scholo. Some BRD and LBRS. Never see WC/RFK/SFK etc.
Maybe a few, but not all of them. If they merge my server and I can’t play the game I’m paying for because of “lol vanilla queues,” then I’m out, and I’m sure there are others with the same mind.
Someone else who plays on Herod and understands where I’m coming from when I say the servers feel like they are dying.

Of course it took a big hit, the “boom” in popularity has started to decrease and people are leaving.

honestly, they have a perfect system for that, lothar is linked with grizzly hills and it’s awesome
linked (sibling) realms and this layering thing they came up with would solve this in two seconds
too many people in a zone, pop a layer. too few? drop a layer.
people like to whine about layers but quite frankly, used well, they can be used to totally rescue damaged and dying environments
So, right now, the server Herod has a high population (along with most of the servers), and it’s a Sunday night in the 9 pm to 12 am range across the continental U.S… I’d say that’s not evidence of the servers dying considering tomorrow’s the start of a new work/school week for many people and there are this many people on this time of night. Really, I’m not seeing the issue here.
I dont think herod is dying but there’s considerably less people on it than the previous weeks
Except that 2 weeks ago at this time Herod had a 2k que but yea everything is still smooth sailing according to Joandre-old-blanchy
that is the same across the board and was inevitable. over the next three months we will settle into our regular player base, sans tourists and curious folk waiting for next bfa patch.
