I couldn’t find a group for the quest at 5pm EST. Took me until 9pm to finally get a full group and that included paying a healer to help.

join a guild, then? my guildies helped me do ony attune, lbrs key, epl group quests etc, and i helped them.
this was the same in vanilla days, i remember it well, was impossible to find a raid for a lot of the stuff like nathanos, darrowshire, so you joined a raiding guild, insta group.

Yeah, and I think part of that is due to the server transfers. I imagine enough people were tired of queues (it stopped being nostalgic after, like, a week).

Just becuase YOU couldn’t find a group for a zone a lot of players aren’t in yet doesn’t mean the servers are dying. A handful of people complaining that they couldn’t find a group therefore the servers are dying isn’t a large enough pool of people for Blizz to determine that the “servers are dying” so they must do something about it. It doesn’t work that way.

Highly unlikely that servers are “dying”. If anything, the larger portion of the player base, is now 40-50 area by now. So by the end of the week, more people will be playing end game.

These servers have far bigger populations than vanilla servers. Shouldn’t be impossible to find groups for quests.
i get your frustration, i really do, but people are by and large motivated by self interest. if they dont need it, they wont do it, even on a busy server. mergers wont fix that. you will only ever have a select handful of people who need the same quest and are willing to devote time to do it.

Yup, did the entire Ony attune last night and took what seemed like 40 minutes to find a group for the test of skulls part (killing the dragons in different zones).
That quest is by all means time consuming and made sense that no one would want to do it unless if they had it. Yet dungeon groups are still happening what seems 24/7.
In my opinion the hardcore folks did all these big raid quests early (like week 1 and 2) and a ton of players who will be doing these in the following weeks arn’t even on those quests yet (that are not quite level cap yet).

In the next 2 weeks, my guild will have probably 2 full MC/Ony raid groups, all guild only, running concurrently. Several other guilds on Horde side Ashkandi are experiencing a very soon setup like this, some guilds, even a 3rd and 4th raid group. Perhaps your faction is low pop on your server, but elsewhere, it’s just fine.

I have spent the last three hours trying to get a group for Wailing Caverns. Still no one around
I got a fellow Priest help me get the lost tablets of mosh’aru early in the morning.
I’m on Herod and i doubt Classic wow is dead already especially our server.

By the way, the population on Mankrik is insane. It’s like launch day pretty much everywhere in the world. Tons of people everywhere. And look at the realm pops. Almost all are High, with a few Mediums. And according to Blizzard even Low is higher than anything was in Vanilla.

Not on the server i play on. We are just starting to get a less than full raid of 40 60’s combining multiple guilds to hit MC on our server. It’s your own fault for rushing to the end and finding out the majority are not there yet and don’t care to rush to the end game that will ALWAYS be there since it’s a permanent vanilla server.

I’m on Heartseeker, which was touted as a “realm doomed to die” when it opened. I’m seeing “high” server populations during weekends and peak hours.
I’ve also had a hard time getting some quests done due to congestion in certain quest spots (Killing skeletons in Desolace and killing jaguars in Swamp of Sorrows both come to mind, recently.)

It’s was transfers that leveled out the population genius. Not everybody wants to sit in queue for 2 hours for the sake of getting to sitting in queue. If you think population is waning or that most of the players are already 60 you’re delusional.
