Any form of boosting that involves Player-vs-Player activities, whether it’s combat or auction wars, negatively hurts the gameplay experience of those on the other side.
BMAH boosting is no different. Although rules permit BMAH boosting when done entirely in-game with gold only, allowing players to transfer characters to a realm and immediately gold cap a BMAH item is a huge detriment to players who are native to the affected realm.
Cripple this ridiculous form of degenerate gameplay that greatly impacts the experience of other players. Implement a 24-hour cooldown on BMAH usage after a character transfer to prevent BMAH boosting buyers from ruining the gameplay experience of native realm players.
The thing is there are players who have billions of gold over several accounts , they literally can control the server market, if you try to compete with them they will just destroy the price to a point that even if it is very cheap you wouldn’t be able to buy it all at all .
How are you so sure they are boosters though? I know I have blown gold cap on it before and not a booster. Do you get the inside scoop direct from blizzard? Or is this just another half baked Humanbeak theory? My guess is option 2.
You do get that there are tons of people with that kind of money right?
If you go through with the no BMAH for 24 hours after the character transfer, it’s not going to stop them.
They just move 1 toon to each realm/connected realm group with gold cap now, then when it’s time to re-stock you send another. For the player with 100s of millions, it’s not going to stop them.
BMAH boosters have to send gold to buyers to purchase soulbound items. My understanding of how it’s currently working is that buyers will be instructed to transfer to x realm with a max-level toon once an item is up on that realm, then they’re sent gold cap by the booster, then bid is made by the buyer.
Obviously the 24-hour cooldown wouldn’t eliminate ALL BMAH-boosting (e.g. BoE items), but it’d cripple it, which is the intent.
I am because I have yet to see it other than a guy that posts bait post like this on the normal.
Is it pressing? Nah, since most things on BMAH are available through other means, the AH dino always sells at max because it’s no longer in game, but you know that.
You know what’s an actual pressing issue? RMT still happening in game, balance, getting nicer mogs, better story, I could go on.
You want them to stop everything for this? Let me guess you lost something so it has to be a cheater?
Honest to Bob guy, this is a norm for you. I think you’d be happier if you stopped searching for all these “issues” that no one else has but you.
Also, I know I have shared this with you before, but that feedback button is just for this, so you don’t have to have so many others telling you this is silly.
