This is what I came here to see. I have three toons that have gotten the weekly Soridormi quest and 2 that haven’t. So I’m wondering the same. Which of these is working as intended.

wouldn’t matter about the quest if they just made the cache drop when completing the event like they do with the token (dilated eon canister).

Same thing for me, three characters got the cache and one did not. For the last character, Soridormi did not have the quest, I did not get a cache.
This is getting to be like the lottery. You win if one of the many million bugs does not get in your way. Last week it was getting 350 greens from the Last Hurrah.
I feel an account shut down coming on as I get more and more frustrated. This is supposed to be entertainment.

Yeah, I think it is the bugs that are going to be the last straw for me. That and their complete lack of concern about world content players getting screwed and they fix nothing but go run a timewalking raid that is just as easy and far less time and they rush to do the fix for the same thing.

I just checked Soridormi with a new toon and she had the quest available that gives the Contained Paracausality (chest). However, when trying to accept the quest it says “You have completed that quest”. The gold bang (!) is still there but no quest.
For a brief moment, I thought they fixed it so all alts can get the chest. If they tried to fix it, it didn’t work. If they didn’t try to fix it, this is a whole new bug.

They have mentioned in the PTR specifically that the time rift weekly quest WILL BE converted to a weekly quest per character instead of per account.
I did receive this quest (which will reward you the item with a chest + a letter (1000 rep) and some other trash) on 3 chracters but none on the other 6-7 characters, this is clearly a bug.

I don’t even get that - totally nothing. I have given up on getting loot from world content. I will just run enough LFR/dungeons for two slots and if I don’t get my characters geared before Remix I guess I don’t.

I just did a second character today on Time Rift (Done a total of 6) this character got the Cache of Embers - My main dd the quests on Tuesday, got the chests, so subsequent characters got nothing, until just now. So perhaps it is indeed fixed now for alts?
Was the quest available, or did the cache drop into your inventory on completion?
No quest, dropped into my bags after killing the final boss inside the rift.

Not shocked at all, Blizz cares so little for open world players and their content. They need to ensure their precious raiders and dungeoneers are kept happy and make sure their content is fixed ASAP and actually communicate from time to time. Don’t worry Blizz, we know you only see open world players as a way to keep the game running when all the raiders and dungeoneers leave a few weeks into a patch.

Just got the Cache off the boss as well. Guess in an hour I’ll go see if I can do it again on someone who already did it and see if the Cache is available there as well.

Yes I was just coming here. I still don’t get the quest but the character I just did got the cache of embers as a drop off the last boss.
That was the easiest way to fix it.
I wonder if I can go and redo all the 14 characters I have already done and get a cache now. I should be able to.

And yet here we are, with it fixed going forward.
Do let us know if characters who previously did it this week before the fix, do get a chest after doing it a second time. I’ll happily run the ones I too have done, again through it.

I went ahead and did a Rift with a character that had already done this weeks, not with quest though, did not get a chest for the second run, which is after the “fix”. I did get a great Ensemble though for my leather wearers from the purple crate.

I don’t know if this is related, but I didn’t get the Dilated Eon Canister when I just did the time rift. I actually got nothing than what was in the three containers you build up during the rift. I was sort of hoping for a trinket upgrade using the Rift reward.
