So, I have an update to my experience with this. The first character I did the actual weekly, “When time needs mending”. After that I went through several alts where the quest would no show up at all and then I went to run it on my priest and the quest showed up. So it would seem it is indeed bugged. ><
I did the rift for aiding the accord on 2 toons so far but when I went to do it on my warlock, the aiding the accord has now changed to dragonbane keep.
So do you mean that they only meant to have 1 toon (or so) do it for that weekly quest per account?
Because now it’s changed.
Or did they change it to dragonbane keep because it’s lagging so bad?
Just curious if you know. I hope this made sense.
In my original post I am refering to the weekly quest from Soridormi “when time needs mending.”. The aiding the accord weekly has always changed from toon to toon.
To be fair, I wouldn’t put it past them with how quickly they killed Zaralek, but I do think it’s unlikely that this current situation was intentional. It very well could be, but something just doesn’t seem right. My gut is telling me that this is a bug.
The quest is probably hidden for players that have not done enough of the campaign questline or high enough renown. They casually left that point out and now they have to work on a carefully constructed response telling everyone that you should have done the full campaign and be max renown by now, so it is your problem.
If that were the case, then I’d be very annoyed, but I would get it. But given the fact that my dracthyr was able to get full progress with her rift, quests and all, without any of the renown, and hasn’t even done the full campaign…while my hunter (with full campaign completion and high renown with all factions, maxed with the Accord) got a buggy mess that netted him nothing at all, tells me that this is probably not the excuse they will use.
The problem is that they sold the entire time rift feature as a way to gear up your alts.
And nobody with a social life will do the renown farm and quests with their alts
