Time limit is probably worst thing about M+ and socialization

This is definitely a balancing aspect that would be a challenge. It just feels like if you remove the timer (but wanted to keep the ability to upgrade the key) it would take such a crazy amount of new rules/balancing that its going to quickly become over the top.

I think I may have just thought of a solution for this:

1. give the bosses enrage timers
2. give the trash a relatively short respawn timer, like 5 or 10 minutes

This encourages you to keep moving and requires you to kill bosses quickly rather than slowly wearing them down. And if you do decide to repeatedly wait on CDs you’ll find yourself facing tons of respawns if you wipe.

Absolutely! I have a group that I run a couple of m+ with pretty much ever night. If you haven’t done so I suggest getting a regular group of people together and hopping in discord and running a couple of keys. Maybe have a beer or two while you are at it if that’s your thing.

The keys become largely secondary to a group of mates hanging out talking . I for one find it highly enjoyable.
