We should be able to change X spec tier piece for the other spec tier set to make multispec easier, like if u have a resto tier u could change for a enhance or elemental tier without any problem.
If u believe that would make BH be worst (i don’t think at this point matter), that could happen to only heroic tier pieces that u already have , since requires ‘‘merit’’ from the player doing the heroic version on bosses to have more freedom to play different spec without being somewhat punished that much since you would have to re enchant and re gems anyway.
They could also remove Valor Point caps. I don’t know that making multispecc’ing easier is better, but there are many ways they could if they wanted to (and I guess they do in later expansions).
That could be a better idea if the only thing u could buy is the tiers , but since u can buy everything else makes more ppl play dgs rn , but over the time ppl will play less dgs so that have a somewhat downsize .
But i do agree that one of the solutions that could be done and i wish they addressed that.
They could make re-colored tier sets that cost like 20,000 Valor Points per piece. That’d keep dungeons popping.

This isn’t retail where 1 piece of gear can have every stat depending on your spec. Don’t barge into our version of WoW and ask for retail changes.

I am not a fan of this.
I’d much rather they fix current issues than change/add things to the game.
If you want different tier, use Valor, Raids, etc.

i dont see how one things affects the other since blizzard have the staff but alright .
Thats my point ur valor is gonne be used on the ‘‘main’’ spec , till u get spare valor to re buy the tier from ur secondary specs thats gonna be weeks away , making literally faster to level up a second char , and u also would have the re get the upgrade piece from heroic making a much big hassle just to enjoy a off spec making it not worth the time .
Hence why im proposing that, since would make a much better quality of life and a upside than any downsize it would bring.
(most ppl wouldn’t bother go trough the whole process again just to play a other spec, with that quality of life also increase the playtime in a major way than just the few that would go bother do the whole process again just for it)
Off spec is just that, off spec and not played often. I see zero reason to change what has been the norm until they added all stats to gear depending on the spec. I play healer with an off-spec dbs and alt tank w/dps off-spec.
When in raid or dungeon, If I need to play off-spec because we are short someone or need just a bit more dps, it comes at the price that my off-spec dps is normally lower than that of main dps (though sometimes I can shame main dps w/my off spec which is fun).
I don’t need tier for off-spec and if I do, then I can get Valor and raid to cover this. Since it is off-spec, in raids, any dps gear that drops I am last on the list while mains get geared.
Thats what im saying why should u pay the price for playing off spec , that’s kind of the whole point of the post .
I don’t mind the other gears since u can somewhat farm them , but tier are valor blocked since we have a weekly cap, that we won’t spend on something else that not main spec till u full.
Also as i said u would have to do the hassle of enchanting and gemming anyway making it a really high cost , witch u eventually will be able to have Mutiple pieces once the valor get a much higher cap witch is lot weeks away .
And as you said u don’t ‘‘need’’ the tier but they have much high difference in dps than any other item in the game and only having a bigger difference latter patch’s since this fist tier could be considered ‘‘mid’’ rn .
Again im what im asking is just a quality of life that would help the game .
So you want to what? Go to the vendor and just exchange your gear at anytime for something else?
Only the tier pieces yes, if u have the lets say 372 resto chest gear u could exchance for the 372 ele chest gear.
Just like u kinda do with tokens already but just a change between spec tiers
Not sure that is a “QoL” thing that would get used much but just go for the gold and ask for buy one piece get one free.
for the gold ? u exchanging ur current piece for another X spec , you not getting any extra .
it is an expression meaning, why just ask to exchange - just ask for free gear and be done w/it.
Thats the point i don’t want to ask for free gear , what im asking is since u already went through the job of getting that X piece why would u have to have such a problem to at least exchange it.
Let say u regret playing X spec but you already bought it , you would have to wait another 2 weeks at least to get 1 piece of the other tier, that’s just another point too.
imo it is the very same thing. If you can just exchange any piece at anytime then why bother just ask for free tier or buy one get one free or buy one and get two free and not worry about all of the exchanging of stuff. keep it simple.
