Just watched the video about this and I know SS isn’t the only arena mode out there but all things considering, you think this analysis to be accurate?
For new players trying out classes at low rating.
Yes.
But tier list for low mmr brackets are pointless because spec strength isn’t holding anyone back at all
That makes sense. Yea I was suprised rogue was at B, but I’ve heard this before where people say the class gets better the higher you climb.
Rogue is actually better at low rating because everyone instantly wastes triple trinket in the opener which feeds u free wins
and their positioning is really bad letting you get really nice openers, and convenient blinds/cheaps
yep. i didn’t find any inaccuracies with the video. skillcapped generally has high quality, informative videos from some of the best players in the game.
Not true, if the rogue has a clue sure but they don’t.
Rogue does terrible at low MMR because they don’t track drs and don’t capitalize on CDs spent,
even Realz has talked about how it’s hard to balance them because play at the floor and at cap is so polarized.
Hence why the margin for error has been expanded so wide
imagine having an opinion of your own
but i guess that would require actual game knowledge.
Lmao Realz is a class dev and does most of the rogue development
The IQ on you rofl
Realz is a hearthstone player and dev, unfortunately.
Whatever man, making a fool of yourself is your ministry
that’s an interesting way of saying “i’m sorry for being wrong.”
Yea go educate yourself instead of doubling down on court jester
okay will do.
Not a fan of his work. Still I do agree with the statement about having to balance rogues.
Seems like faulty logic to me. Everything should be designed with the assumption it will be used correctly. Do the devs buff top performing dps because the bottom 50% of LFR players don’t do well with it? Who knows maybe they do but I think it’s obvious they shouldn’t. Should a rim manufacturer spend money developing stronger rims because some customers are driving around on flat tires bending them? We could go on and on.
None of this is directed at you btw as I understand you’re just relaying the info, but hearing they are trying to design rogues around players that don’t use them correctly is just laughable and explains so much.
I’d love to know how blizzard balances specs when they have multiple rated formats + casual content
pvp talents and specific pvp nerfs/buffs
Pretty sure it’s all around mythic raiding and M+. Any semblance of PvP balance is just a lucky byproduct of those efforts then some smoothing of the edges every once and a while.
Yeah but I wonder how much they base those talents off rbg vs 3s usage. Some buffs and nerfs are so random sometimes
