You: “I strictly only play 1/3 of my character”
Also you: “Why is this so hard for me!”

There is literally a “starter build” talent selection that will auto pick perfectly fine talents for you.
Be any more lazy bro LOL
Yeah I also got one shot in Tier 5 on my 588 Havoc DH actually. This is after I had to leave a Tirna Shhite group because they kept messing up maze. Fun times.
Aren’t bountiful delves the same difficulty? They just have an extra chest I thought.
Oh cool, I can talk smack now then.
EZ AF, skill issue.
yeah I have mixed feels about the delves, just finished the T8 delve solo with my last life, had to use multiple consumables and potions as well as some kiting.
On one hand with them giving Champion gear I understand it should require some work, but also the fun factor should be taken into account, I think since they don’t have time limits it’s kinda balanced as best as it can be
This is not why they were made. They were never advertised as casual content, they were advertised as a challenging way for solo players to do end game level challenging content with shorter dedication time (15-20 minutes)
Solo does not equal casual. Blizzard has always advertised that these would be difficult content.
White hits on a t5 tickle at the recommended gear level, unless you’re referring to avoidable mechanics that must be played around. It’s a game after all, I don’t know how many people would be excited if every encounter was a patchwerk fight. And if the tier in question is t8, it’s tuned for an ilvl we literally couldn’t have been at this week. It’s not meant to be done by everyone today. You do what you can this week, get some upgrades, open vault next week, move on to the next tier, repeat
yeah T5 seemed pretty easy, it’s T7/8 where they start really hitting hard, but that may just be a gear issue more than anything.
Bingo.
And there’s a reason why only the first three tiers were released. After that, the difficulty goes up. 4 would be a bit more challenging. 5-8 is going to be much more challenging. 9-11 is meant for bragging rights.
This is the problem with WoW.
Blizz is particularly egotistical as a company and that’s on top of the fact that EVERYONE has confirmation bias. So they’ll listen to things that make them look good. See, the design is actually perfect. Not overtuned at all. Way to go Blizz!
To make yourself look awesome you have made the entire game worse for everyone.
Sounds like a skill issue
The fact you can do delves in five-man groups means it’s not solo content. They sold lies this expansion. I mean I can go solo a heroic dungeon call it solo content and advertise it as such. I’d be lying.
There’s clearly a huge demand for substantive solo gearing routes but this company just can’t get it done.
Go play classic if game too hard…. Or you know you could always do tier 1 or normal dungeons
Why? There are more of me than you.
Aight then spec into all the DPS options you have (that +3% fire/nature damage talent, Acid Rain, Chain Lightning, whatever. I know it’s not a crazy amount for Resto but there are some) and create a gear set that has 0 Mastery so you can be the best possible DPS as Resto Spec if you’re gonna be stubborn about never touching an offspec.
My Holy Priest has -200 Mastery right now to do DPS stuff.
I soloed Fungal Folly on tier 8 today. My ilvl was only 581, while the game recommends 603.
It was extremely difficult. I had to kite and pull as slow as possible. I had to treat every fight as a boss fight and use every single CD i had, and i skipped multiple Empowered mob groups because those mobs hit too hard.
But it was perfectly doable.
Grouping is an option if you want to easily get these done, but theyre still soloable. Unlike a heroic (or normal) dungeon.
I’ve found if you meet the required item level they’re not as hard as if you’re below it… but I’m not sure if delves are healer spec friendly all the same. You do you though, you do unlock the new difficulty on every character when one character unlocks them so…can always try to gear an alt who’ll maybe survive better. I’m possibly making it harder on me only planning to use my shadow priest so… I’ll see if that item level thing holds true still
A friend and I 2 manned normal mines up to and including tier 11 as a tank + healer combo. I was group leader using a level 15 Brann with healer stuff and he did crazy damage (at least compared to a tank and a healer).
After a certain level certain named monsters that spawn in the second room were impossible so we had to come up with strats to skip them while freeing the webbed people.
We were both only mid 580s ilvl.
It seemed like he was doing more damage than when I soloed. Not sure if there was some interaction happening that was making him that strong all the way up to t11 normal mines.
Try it on a caster. It’s easy mode on a tank. That’s due to one shot mechanics. It’s not difficult. It’s just tedious mechanics that aren’t fun, with one shot mechanics. Difficult content would involve dynamics you see in Mage Tower. Where you have to time your cooldowns and position well. Strategize your playing some way. One shot mechanics are not that. It just means roll a tank.
Not that it matters anyway since they gated progression behind bountiful delves which will just give you the same gear level that is recommended to even begin the delve in the first place.
I don’t know who’s designing this but they failed.
