Ticket response time for customer support

I just made a ticket because my account was hacked, I was sleepy and stupid so responded to a phishing message and my account was hacked, how long does it take for blizzard to respond to that? I am really worried and I want my account back

Response times are around the 24-48 hour mark currently last I heard. However, they do try and get to the more serious ones (such as account compromises) as quickly as they can.

Thanks for the advice, for sure I will take security of my account way more serious from now on if I get my account back it is, my account has a payment method on it ( I have canceled any online activity on my bank account for now) but blizzard I think has to respond way sooner than 24 hours for these type issues

Like was explained these get prioritized higher.

That said, they are also working from home atm. Further there is a huge influx of players due to circumstances. Combination of the two and you get higher ticket times.

In the meantime, get an authenticator ready to go. You can get it in the app store. After your system is secure it is well worth it.

guys the issue was solved in several hours, I’m very happy with blizzard’s response time and this time I connected my account to my phone so these thing won’t happen

Be sure to also change your e-mail password to ensure that they don’t have access to that too. If they do, it can result in the account being hacked again. If your e-mail provider also offers two factor authentification, I’d highly recommend signing up for that too!

all my accounts were hacked a couple of hours ago, i managed to get 2 accounts back but all the other accounts were completely changed. any way for you to contact me a bit faster? I have a ticket placed on this account however they managed to change the email on this account too :confused:

You’ll have to wait in line. Blizzard will do their best to restore compromised accounts but that will also take time.

You’ll need to scan your computer thoroughly. More than likely, you email accounts have been compromised too.

Did you not have an authenticator?

This should be it’s own thread, seeing how old this thread is. Necromancy is bad.

But don’t worry, as long as your tickets are in, they’ll be able to undo most anything a hacker does.
