Not sure, but the people on Tich in our raid keep disconnecting at the same time. Hyjal based server with multiple Tich raiders. They all DC at the same time.

Unfortunately theres nothing that can be done here mite just be a server hiccup but theres no blizzard employees here at this time of nite tech support would at least get it seen.

I’m on Ragnaros server (latino) and i have the same issue. Lag spikes and repeated disconnections.
It’s been going on most of the evening. Just DC’ed from a raid. Tried using a VPN. MS was 40, then nothing.
Ya complete dc now. Was in key. Lag all day and now just can’t get back in. This xpac has been some seriously buggy stuff. Between addon changes and server instability I have to wonder if too many people have been let go.
Yeah, it’s truly pathetic
These things often clear up quickly unless its a bigger if its a bigger issue it will be plastered at the top of the launcher.
Ok so were in the middle of a DDOS attack there we go.

Yeah, i called it too. I told people I suspect it was DDoS. Because they ALWAYS get hit with DDoS and it always successfully takes them down. Fragile authentication server. Happens so much they still don’t do a thing to make that server more resilient against that type of attack
Theres no foolproof anti DDOS prevention last one was in late june while the system isnt perfect they do try to fix it asap..

Though this is true, they could still implement a strategy to lessen the impact.
The more it occurs, the more I’m convinced that Blizzard does not have some server redundancy strategy implemented on the back end to handle such attack. A small cluster or single choke point over saturated with requests
Easy to offer “advice” from a 3rd person perspective when you don’t have a clue what Blizzards IT strategies are.

The people that do DDoS don’t attack the Blizzard IP addresses any more because Blizzard put in resiliency. Most of the DDoS attacks go after AT&T IP addresses upstream from Blizzard’s ones.
Another thing, Blizzard servers are monitored 24/7. They would know about the extent of these drops before players post.
