That’s a little tin-foil hatter isn’t it? People are clearing by tanking the enrage, which is what warlocks were already doing, so that’s probably the way to go. Obviously try to draw out the kite phase so you have as little way to go as possible.
That could just be a tooltip issue. I believe the inverse strategy is needed for marks, keep Karem perms CC and burning Raest. IMO, marks has the hardest of the lot, because they can’t eliminate a mechanic by killing Karem.
