Is there a macro that switches to Battle Stance and immediately casts Throwdown? Every macro I try I have to press it twice.
A single-press macro to do both cannot exist. The best possible macro requires 2 presses.
Most everything involving stance dancing will require more than one press. You can put lots of instant cast stuff in there. Shams and wars had the best one shot macros back in the day though so just play around with it a bit and you will perfect it.
This seems to work.
#showtooltip Throwdown
/use Battle Stance
/use Throwdown
I’ve pretty much done this with all of my Warrior abilties
#showtooltip Mortal Strike
/startattack
/use Berserker Stance
/use Mortal Strike
It’s a lazy way for one to stance dance, the macro should always be typed this way too I tried it being typed out like this…
#showtooltip Throwdown
/use [nostance:1] Battle stance;Throwdown
But it didn’t work but it written in long form did work.
When written with a semicolon like that, you’re giving it a single use command which it will do only one of based on the conditional.
If you want it to only try to use Battle Stance if you’re not already in Battle Stance, the formatting you want is
/use [nostance:1] Battle Stance
/use Throwdown
With or without [nostance:1] it works either way because you can’t cast the stance again if you’re already in that stance.
Heres mine, I basically use it as my burst macro!
/use Vicious Gladiator’s Badge of Victory
/cast Deadly Calm
/cast Sweeping Strikes
/cast Throwdown
It’s just an end of line character, so more or less the same as what you’re doing.
This would also work.
#showtooltip
/cast [stance:1] Throwdown; Battle Stance
