Thread of fate is being removed from shadowlands (soon)

Once dragonflight launches or come November 15 thread of fates is being deactivated and when I mean deactivated I mean it’s being removed from the game permanently.

I’ll just use Chromie Time and level somewhere else, I refuse to do the SL storyline ever again.

Oh I’ll laugh so hard once it kicks in come November 15 or the launch of Dragonflight but sure think that I am a lying hypocrite when what I am saying is true.

How about a link to a source?

  • Removed the ability for players who have not started Threads of Fate to access the system.
    • Developers’ notes: The goal with Threads of Fate was to help alleviate the linear path of Shadowlands for alts as it was the only way for players to level from 50 to 60. Now that Shadowlands has been moved into Chromie time and Chromie Time’s level cap has been increased to 60, players have a multitude of methods to reach level 60. Players currently in Threads of fate can continue through it, but the option will not be available for any new characters.
    • We do not have plans to do similar removals with Dragonflight’s Adventure Mode in future expansions. Threads of Fate is a choice to use in Shadowlands and irreversibly changes a player’s character once it is chosen. It previously created two different experiences of Shadowlands, which would double to four with both of the level up and Threads of Fate being accessible within Chromie time. Adventure Mode in Dragonflight is an overlay to the level up experience and is always on once it is earned regardless of decisions the player makes.

Take your precious time and read it

Ain’t no way in hell I’m ever touching Craplands ever again.

I’m doing Shadowlands for the first time ever right now. It’s kind of meh, but not ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. Coming from leveling all my characters in Legion, it seems like Blizz kind of called it in for the SL expansion.

Its not that he’s a troll or maybe he is. He just enjoys trying to anger people because it makes him feel good. I wouldn’t take a single thing he says seriously. He just pumps out threads that people dont like constantly.

Well, I’d love to read the whole thing, but there’s still no link so :woman_shrugging:.

Oh, I know he does it to anger people and I don’t take them seriously at all but when does one get a chance to really troll a troll.

Nope. There is no more Threads of Fate.

Wut? It’s literally a blue post…

Thank you for the link. I never said you were making it up. It’s everyone else in this thread that thinks you’re just trolling. I just wanted a source, that’s all.

Edit: I also really do appreciate the heads up about this!

Do leveling by questing a few more times and you’ll be ready to give it up forever.

Probably people who want to put new characters into Shadowlands to help farming mounts and achievements. Making it inaccessible this way sounds like a complete admission of failure.

Well, I’ll be thank you for those guess I was too busy feeding the troll to see those.
