He lost his Thor-ness a good while back. It will be a miracle if he can even cast a simple Lightning Bolt anymore.

Back in warcraft 3 his first skill was arc lightning and he was not a shaman there is he?

Thrall was a Far Seer which is basically “Shaman but riding on a wolf”. All the skills he had are skills still used by Shamans to this day:

  • Chain Lightning
  • Feral Spirit
  • Far Sight
  • Earthquake

So yeah, basically a Shaman.

Pretty much, yeah. Thinking his lightning throwing days are behind him.

I don’t imagine him doing much fighting, but we’ll see.

Yeah, Thrall is the “what if the Hulk could use Mjolnir”. Hulk body, speaking in grunts, big hammer/axe, potential for lightning.

I thought New Asgard was in Norway or Scandinavia? given how the geography looked at the village.

Also remember the plot of Ragnarok guys Thor lost his hammer to his big sister and became powerless but then regained his power through himself before later getting an Axe that allowed him to use the Bifrost.

Thrall is currently in his own ‘without a hammer or power’ phase and given he has a new Axe its not hard to imagine he’ll become a Warrior-Shaman Hero class hybrid by the end of BfA but with more Frost than Lightning element.

Plagiarism is a big thing so if they wanted to copy the story of Marvel Movies Thor they need to make changes to justify it being different.

EDIT: Fun fact there is actually a tree axe in the games Lore currently owned by Broxigars niece so they could end up using that too lol.

Gonna stop you right there. The answer is no, it would not be cool.

It is probably what we ARE going to see, but no it won’t be cool to watch him swoop in for the kill steal again. This will be the third time now?

What would be cool would be to see the Horde and Alliance characters face off and Jaina kills him along with Rexxar for the death of her father, but Blizz would never allow that to happen.
