Thrall got his Mojo back

That…doesnt disprove what I just said.

You’re really bad at this, you know that?

It doesn’t disprove what you said. She is backed by a death god. It takes the weight out of what that means when being backed by a death god didn’t save the last guy who was backed by a death god trying to stop Jaina and the Alliance.

This isn’t an argument. This is just defamation. Running out of juice?

Why would I run out of juice for you posting a cinematic that proves what I said to be true?

Odd logic to use, but whatever.

Why are you moving the goal post from “having a death god means Talanji can defeat Jaina” to “She has a death god”?

Why did you bring up the death god if not to suggest the death god means she is on Jaina’s level?

The cutscene proves that this idea is not true.

No…it doesn’t at all. I haven’t moved any perceived goal posts, I’ve said several times she has the backing of a death god.

I can’t help you that you’re failing to understand this.

I’d also like to bring up that she was empowered by Rezan when she faced Jaina the first time, and Rezan was more powerful than Bwonsamdi.

She was weaker than Jaina when powered by a more powerful Loa. She was accompanied by the player, Rokkhan, Thalyssra, Nathanos, Zul, etc. She was still running in fear. Zul still predicted their loss.

So know that we agree she has the backing of Bwomsondi, we can move on.

Because you clearly don’t know to disprove someone’s claim.

I never challenged that. What are you even on about?

Quote where I said she wasn’t backed by Bwonsamdi.

That’s literally all I said and you kept posting videos that you thought for some reason…didn’t prove that.

What are YOU on about? Because apparently the IN THEORY part flew right over your head right into space

You said that she was backed by Bwonsamdi when I stated that Talanji cannot defeat Jaina. Why did you bring up Bwonsamdi?

There.

You tried to say that Bwonsamdi made Talanji powerful enough to be Jaina’s equal. Bwonsamdi could not save Rastakhan. Bwonsamdi was lesser in power than Rezan. Rezan could not make Talanji powerful enough to be Jaina’s equal.

It’s a shame you couldn’t just be honest about this.

For some reason, you’re still not getting it.

Correction, at the time Bwonsamdi was weaker than Rezan.

More specifically, the Loa of Graves was weaker than the Loa of Kings. However, as of SLs, by all indications, due to Mueh’zala’s treachery Bwon usurps his prior master and has become the now uncontested Loa of Death. On top of this, he still retains the title of Loa of Kings as of Shadows Rising, even if the position has been diluted a bit from its prior iteration. On top of this, his very visible actions in that same book, and his willingness to renegotiate his deal with Talanji has earned him a rather sizable influx of new worshippers.

Point is, Talanji is likely one of the Horde’s most powerful characters right now. Whether she is Jaina powerful I don’t know, but by the events of 9.0 Bwon is likely quite a bit more powerful than he was as of 8.3. That being said, he also seems to be expending a ton of his own power to create and maintain a safety net for his own worshippers right now.

Well, feel free to @ me when she proves it. Cause thus far Jaina’s 2/2 against our Zandalari loa-fueled priestly types.

I think … we’re unlikely to see her really strut her stuff till her patron loa has both a chance to solidify his current position in the lands of the dead, and the burden of circumventing the Arbiter system is released from his shoulders. But … the Loa of Death is likely to be a very powerful ally. As could Loa’Jin be, though perhaps it be nice for him to give a boost to our peak SH Rokhan.

As a note … I honestly wonder what Vol’jin’s title will be if he does go Loa. I “believe” based on his titles, Rezan was the Loa of the Hunt (God of the Hunt) before he ascended to the Loa of Kings title. Think Jin will be something similar?

I kind of want Vol’jin to be his own character who is just present, but I guess if I can’t have that, empowering Rokhan is the next best thing. I kind of expect Vol’jin and Rezan to be like Clavicus Vile and Barbas. They’re both simultaneously the same god, but they’re still simultaneously two different people who compliment eachother. A Troll and his T-Rex. A T-Rex and his Troll.

Loa of Tribes
Loa of Chiefs
Loa of Trolls
Loa of Family
Loa of Duty

idk. Could be the hunt. Could be of Kings. I could see Bwonsamdi bowing out to him.

Is it safe to mention that thing around these forums yet? 0.O

runs for immediate cover

No. He’s still training in space and might hear and come back from Planet Oblivion.

Personally would of preferred Jaina and Thrall to be useless in the maw. I would imagine their powers shouldn’t work there.
