And I said DUH… everyone knows that… but again that has NOTHING to do with what I was discussing with the original guy… that is moving the goal post…
and it is hilarious that you are accusing me of incoherent rants when everything you said has nothing to do with the original discussion…
You wanna comment about how Blizz introduced flying in TBC next? It would have as much relevance to the original discussion as the rest of your statements…
The best part is the devs don’t want to give us the original mounts because they don’t want us to rush, but they are willing to rush Dire maul instead.
That might help but honestly what you really need is formal education in argumentation and logical fallacies.
Your exact post was:
That is literally what you said.
Blizzard did state that. This is correct.
Now Blizzard has change their mind. This is reality.
It is entirely within Blizzard’s purview to change their mind.
Is it sooner than expected? For some people maybe. For those with any understanding of how Dire Maul came to be we mostly think it should have been released with Classic launch.
Your problem is you don’t have any capacity for nuance.
You barely have a functional grasp of basic grammar.
What part of Dire Maul came out 15 weeks in Vanilla and is coming out in 7 weeks in Classic do you not understand? Oh wait… you fully understand and are just trolling. Pfft…
If you watched even a few of the videos that came out to discuss the phase planning you would hear some very good arguments as to why certain things ar ebeing done in that order.
It’s clear this is a subscription incentive and nothing more, and it opens the door for more of them.
Why not open all the content now? I mean… what is the purpose of holding anything back and letting people do it at their own pace?
Funny how I need to learn and according to you and yet you keep blubbering on about this crap…
No one… let me repeat for the “slow” people in this thread… NO ONE said anything about what you are talking about… we all know and have known Blizz can do whatever they want… one more time, in case you missed it… That is not what I was discussing… you moved the goal post about something no one cares about but you.
And thank you for putting me down and the blatant attempt at bullying… all because you are completely wrong… if I was 13 and in middle school it may have worked and put me in my place…
Yes and they said the order would be determined based on what they felt was appropriate and given that there are a lot of people at 60 now it seems fine they’re releasing something. They never once said they would be releasing things on the same schedule as when things were released in vanilla.
I really don’t know where you ever got the idea that they would be following vanilla’s release schedule.
Not only do you not understand logical fallacies but you also don’t understand the word “bullying”. Must be hard for you to function day to day.
Your entire argument boils down to:
Some person said “I don’t buy it’s sooner than expected”
You respond “Blizzard said X therefore it is sooner than expected. Mic Drop”.
I’ve laid out pretty clearly why others had separate expectations of Dire Maul being released earlier and how this might be considered “releasing Dire Maul” late.
You haven’t even attempted to address that you’ve just spewed a bunch of barely literate drivel.
Your problem is you don’t understand how Vanilla’s progression actually was. 95%+ of players in Vanilla started AFTER Dire Maul was out. MC was not being farmed by anyone when it was released. If you want to approximate, as closely as possible, the vanilla progression, they already missed the timetable when Dire Maul should have been released. Every guild has MC and Ony on farm, its taking a few weeks for people of hit 60 instead of the original average of close to 3 months, and the 1.12 itemization that added stuff like spell power, attack power, and all those %hit/crits that everyone is wearing are already out. You were never going to get the pure “vanilla” experience simply because of the knowledge of the playerbase, the BiS item lists, and most of all streamers. Stop trying to make Classic exaclty like vanilla as it will never be that. Instead enjoy it for what it is, a second chance to enjoy things you may have missed out on the first time around and also a community driven MMO that even grown-ups with responsibilities and lives that can no longer play for 12 hours a day like they did in vanilla can enjoy.
8.25 didn’t bring Classic players over to Retail like they were hoping, so they’re using DM to keep Classic players engaged until until 8.3 releases. Seems obvious that they’re hoping to transfer as much interest from one to the other being that retail is where they’ve maximized their monetization of the game.
It just sucks for people like me because they’re pushing classic out of the hands of people who want to enjoy it at a grow-ups-with-jobs pace, and back into the streamer/skip-school-to-play-hard pace.
