I think it’s fun but feels like a random bg where everyone’s doing 1/4th normal damage and healing and agency over the game feels pretty low unless you’re a dk or ele

About the same as all other prepatches. The game doesn’t truly start til TWW comes out. Go out and enjoy the summer in the meantime.

This needs to be brought to the forefront. 0 reason they needed to make the changes until level 80 was actually attainable if it made the game unplayable at 70

Healing feels kind of overtuned ngl. I’ve only played pally and Druid and dragon tho
Shuffle is super lame every lobby is either double ele dk ret or double dk ele ret.
Dragonflight prepatch was 20x more fun than this.

I’m just making gold and casually playing blitz with my bff doors. But this was all to be expected, so I’m never surprised about the gross imbalance at this point.
I hope they adjust things quickly when WWI starts.

I think it’s non-sense people say this all the time.
We all pay a sub monthly to play this game. There shouldn’t be a whole month of everything being crazy inbalanced and people say “just do something else”. We’re paying for the game to be playable lol and they shouldn’t be releasing patches that aren’t tested enough onto live servers.
I work 50+ hour weeks and have limited play time. So when I do get to play I’d like to play a semi-balanced game and not have fotm ele’s running around doing 4x everyone else’s damage.
Granted, I know - I’ve played this game for a long time and prepatches have always been pretty wonky. And honestly it’s definitely been worse. But 1. they need to make tuning adjustments to the live game if it’s going to be out for a month and not just leave it as is and 2. we shouldn’t accept bad product quality and just say “go do something else and wait for the actual xpac to drop.”

I get your point but I also ask you this question. How many expansion launches have you been around for? They always have glitches and lag fest palooza. My hopes are that blizz is rolling it out slower so they can correct bugs etc….since I said that the server is going down with my luck!!! There is also a 3 day lapse for people who don’t get the elite edition. So launch is Aug 26 but some people get early access on the 22 or 23. Maybe this is all an attempt to have a more seamless experience. Again that’s my hopes.

It’s not defending as much as it’s accepting. It’s been like this for two decades. It’s not going to change. You can either accept it and make the most of it, or protest with your wallet. And unsub.
I’m just trying to be optimistic , maybe they are trying to make it more seamless my friend, but like Grandpappy said it’s been this way for 2 decades.

In all seriousness, this is the worst prepatch ive played in terms of pvp (I only pvpd slands and dflight). Game is too slow, things need to die, and dk/ele are unkillable death gods, ft ret paladin.

Unfortunately this is going to be the new norm. We may be in for an entire expansion of BFA S4.
Ret already caught the nerfs that were probably supposed to go to dks and eles 
but that’s fine missing 10% off of a few ST attacks won’t cripple the spec.
Ele and dk both have some big damage nerfs on beta (but are still topping meters). I don’t actually mind their damage, I just really REALLY hate the 30s team ams and passive magic damage dr that’s not nerfed in pvp for some reason.
