i just want to start and say i am not complaining. jw what every1’s thoughts are on h pali’s. ive played them in vanilla and have an alt i will get 60 eventually. i feel alli has a tad advantage just b/c of h pali’s and their utility. any1 else think h pali’s op? not broken just op. imo theyre the best healers in the game
OP on healing meters in raids or in pvp?
In raids yeah they offer healing and a ton of utility with blessings.
In pvp they are hard to kill because they can wear plate, have a bubble, and can defend themselves to varying extents.
I am an Hpal 
I chose Hpal for raids because they looks cool(biggest reason), and can agro dump anyone of their choosing. Know how useful it is to see a rogue getting high on the threat meter, and then BoP them? Even raiding in this game is like pvp, having control over others actions really helps. Also not a lot of people make pallies or druids for healing, so having a highly sought after class/spec combo is also really good.

You deserve to be the best healer in the game if you can level up a Paladin to 60 without falling into a coma from boredom (& annoyance).

Holy Paladins seem the way to go, even Ret can be fun.
Judgement is probably the best looking Class set in the game and has incredibly good set bonus pieces.
These right there are awesome for a pally but holy smokes is leveling one tedious, joyless and overall an awful experience. I leveled 2 in vanilla and never again will I touch the class.

I leveled up a Holy Paladin to 60 in Vanilla, 70 in TBC (Shockadin fun!) & 80 in WotLK, & thought I could do it again in Classic - but no. Made it to 32 & now I get sick to my stomach every time I log in with her. Plus, not a fan of the Human models, animations & over-sized weapon/shield. I would probably have better luck with a Draenei - in-fact I re-rolled to Draenei Paladin from scratch back in the day with TBC launch, & then later faction/race changed her to Blood Elf to try life on the dark-side in WotLK. Crazy times.

Blessing over and over is pretty annoying, it’s also the lack of interaction. It’s basically auto attacks and tossing out a few judgements. Most classes arn’t the most wow when it comes to rotation but paladins are the masters of tedious play.
Dungeon crawling can be fun though. Paladins with a team or questing partner is actually fun.

yea i just love healing bgs and raids. lots of stress and pressure but super fun

true but if u have a mage its no worries and u still have all ur blessings that are instant cast and dispels for p much everything except curses so ur not rendered totally useless
Absolutely! A lot of people complained about horde racials and faction imbalance, but I thought, “You know what would even the odds? Literally 1 single holy paladin.”
I’d say, the mission has been successful.

Oh definitely, but Horde racials give a strong 1v1 advantage and that attracted a lot of people. Plus all the PvP videos from back in the day from primarily UD players.
Which only really matters if you’re dueling, but sure.

During one of the first rounds of the Classic Dueler’s League, Payo (and UD rogue) beat Boomerr (an Orc Rogue). Obvioulsy, Orcs have an advantage in this duel, and they were both quite highly skilled, competitive, and well-prepared duelists.
The racial advantages are there, but they are over hyped.
In terms of PvE paladins are clearly the best healer in the game in the early phases of classic but once you start to get closer to Naxx gear you’ll see Priests take the number one spot and shaman will catch up to near paladin level.
Druids will always be last place but once in Naxx level gear they can spam HT rank 4 and be not too far behind.
I… think that’s the opposite of the truth. Paladins with enough crit never run out of mana, and their FoL starts healing insanely well and they can chaingun heals.
Dude they all wear that pink dress. There is 0 plate on them.
You roll alliance in vanilla since pally smashes shamy in heals and fire res aura for rag.
For PvE. For PvP, they absolutely wear plate. At least the good ones do.
