In my mind I think with money on the line it’s justified. But then again I’ve seen plenty of matches where Cdews team or other teams have waited it out and let them reconnect. What are your thoughts?

Every professional sports team will take any and every opportunity to capitalize on their opponents misfortune. I don’t see why it would be any different with a video game tournament. I wouldn’t wait

Yea I agree, money is now on the line. I could see this happening in casual 3s or shuffle (although if I see someone disconnected they are the first I’m attacking). But in a match with money on the line there is no mercy. I feel like it’s the same in football when the QB is trying to pull a cheeky rushing yards play and the defense actively try to destroy him and injure him to take him out of the game completely.
normally they’d wait but most likely they didn’t wait this time because THE MOVE was playing FOTM stuff and F tier wasn’t. Why wait for a bunch of people abusing feral/spriest?

Lol I personally don’t think that’s the same really but like if the QB accidentally got injured and might come back later nobody would be wanting to wait for him to return so it’s “more fair”.

I guess a better analogy would be if the QB does return injured they won’t take it easy on him and actively attempt to tackle the injured spot. I’ve seen defensive line literally go for a QBs knees helmet on when they know the QB recently had a torn ligament etc.
While I think it’s a nice gesture to wait, you’re also letting the other team reset and get their cds back and maybe even giving them an advantage. Given that it could also be abused (whoops I dc’ed! tee hee), I think the right choice is to keep playing and go for the win.
No mercy. 
Money talks, F-Tier doesn’t have a bunch of grown dudes giving them money, so I understand why they would take the easy win.

Happened match number 2 and Pikaboo immediately DC’d off the start of the match right at the gates and Laros went in full CDs then Saul popped full CDs I believe when we saw Laros do it and they nuked him out.
Laros fat fingered berserker rage. It was out of his hands at that point.
Seriously though… Money was on the table, and it was allowed.
People need to relax.

I agree with this, considering the losing team was going down to the lower bracket and would have to claw their way back.

Damn. Ngl, from what I’ve seen of Dorito I’d expect him to do it, but not Laros and Saul. Then again, they got bills to pay and threw their ethics out the window in order to secure their next meal. Really disappointed to hear that either way tho.

ah, I get the confusion. as it’s not necessarily happening in this thread, but in general. sorry… People are kinda losing their minds about F Tier not waiting. There’s already a reddit about it where people are being pretty insane.
Ah, okay. I’m not really on reddit and I didn’t watch the event. I’m sure it’ll be talked about a lot tho, and this seems like one of those things that will have split opinions.
