Okay, it’s a video game. Why are you concerned with the genitals or lack of genitals in the game?
For all I can see, the character models already are gender neutral by getting the Barbie and Ken doll treatment - genitals or private areas are not noticeably male or female.
Seems pretty gender neutral to me.

yes, everything from the way you dress, how you use the restroom, how you socialize, and so many other countless aspects of human life revolve around gender consideration and gender norms. it’s just a fact of life and biology.
Don’t ask me, ask Blizzard, they are the one who decided to impliment Male and Female gender options.
And by you stating Barbie and Ken doll treatment just goes to reinforce that you are aware of this gender separation, as regardless of the lack of anatomical private bits on the toy dolls, they are still classified as female or male, even by you reference of them in your statement.

to be fair we do have a few races that dont have any outwardly sexual identifiable traits.
Hozen and Jinyu come to mind
Edit: to be fair thats probably because one of those above sexual reproduction is literally bomb the entire local ecosystem with eggs and male stuff from a single hole (that’s how the Carp does the nasty at least)

Not at all, even from the beginning with Genesis in the bible, God made “man” in his image… plus Man and Woman was clearly defined with Adam (male) and Eve (female).
