I sent a RaF to my friend and payed for his 60 days to get myself 30 days with the RaF rewards. As of yesterday it says my sub is set to run out today. I opened a ticket but my wait time has only increased, with the website saying only active subs can receive rewards, though I was active when I should have received the reward. Blizzard doesn’t seem to have a contact number anymore and am going to miss scheduled raids on my day off.
Is the only option to wait 24-48hrs for a response? My ticket time was 23hrs when I created it yesterday and now the time is over 24hrs.
When did you gift him the two months? If it hasn’t been 31+ days since (the rewards are gifted monthly with the new system, not immediately), the system is working as intended.
The number that was available for us to call in was retired more than a decade ago when they moved over to the new callback system, but that and live chat have been temporarily disabled until they can get the massive influx of tickets tackled. They’ve been doing better and better, but it still isn’t at a point they nor us players are entirely happy with.
It’s hard to get a bead on what category the RAF rewards problem option is, but generic tickets are taking anywhere from 2 to 7 days at the moment. Better than 14+ it was back in September and October, but still not the norm.

Just to add on to what Ekon said, the ticket time is not a countdown timer. Current times are 2-3 days for most issues.

If its month by month why is that not advertised on the RaF? The page says nothing directly regarding this
At the bottom under FAQ, then the Rewards dropdown:

That’s not what you quoted, though.
You’ll receive your first reward when your friend adds at least 30 days of game time to the account.
So they should receive the first 30 days automatically.
rewards beyond the first will be granted at a rate of one per month
So the next reward they’ll receive a month later.
No, but they were asking about the game time reward, which is the second month’s reward.
That rules out days 1-30.

The pet is the initial reward they get straight away.

That is absolutely ridiculous. I only play classic wow and have no use at all for a retail pet. Why would they exclusively add items 1/4th of the player base will have no use for, then time gate them into getting the rewards they can actually use?
You mistake me for someone that helped in the development of the program, I’m afraid. Those answers will be found elsewhere.
While there’s no guarantee they’ll respond, you can try tweeting @WarcraftDevs.
Alternatively, if you would like to see some things changed with the program, you’ll want to post constructively (why you don’t think something works and some ideas that could make it better) over in the General Discussion forum.

Because 3/4 of the player base does have a use for them? I’d go with that.

Oh dur, my bad. LOL I forgot and was thinking of the old system. Sorry!
Recruit a Friend was designed for Retail, not for Classic.

OP, just remember also that you have to have active game time on your account to be granted any of the rewards when they come up.
