There’s already action from blizz coming next week that will assess my concern, I just need to run a good 20-30 more m+ to get the gilded crests i need for mythic raiding.
- Death penalty on top of dungeon timer, on top of taking more time to run back feels bad.
- Timers can be pretty tight. There’s no incentive to take risks for a 2 or 3 chest other than IO. Refer to previous bullet.
- I wish there was a level between 11 and 12, the jump in difficulty is massive. (I know I’m a baddie.)
- Why is it so anti-social? Apart from “hi” and “gg” no one has time to talk unless they’re flaming someone during a run back after a wipe. In the elder times many pulls required strategy and coordination, and dungeons inherently became a social activity. Some people miss that. An alternate mode with no timer, harder or same difficulty mobs, and less rewards is worth exploring.
I’d tend to agree here. I think it’s intentional of Blizzard to encourage cross-pillar engagement (I’m sure internally, they see it boosts their MAU or time-played metrics). It’s certainly not ideal for people like me who are time constrained.
I was half joking with the comment of just putting bis gear in store. But, in reality, if it will save me a ton of time, I’d support it.
How would you feel about reworking Peril into the delve system for deaths?
IE: your first 6 + floor( timer in minutes / 10) deaths do not have a time penalty. After those have been used, your next death has a penalty equal to the timer of the dungeon.
M+ should have 1 guaranteed loot just like in delv; spending an entire day farming and getting absolutely nothing is ridiculous.
They already did.
The introduced the wow token.
The created a legal space to advertise carry runs for gold.
Buy gold > buy carry runs > loot bis gear for cash.
good news: they still do!
I just want the threshold to be down again. My group was in tens in Dragonflight, until the last season. Now for the first time, we haven’t touched a single keystone. We’re playing Season of Discovery! That’s how boring things are!
queue times? it’s manual-forming.
It is pointless to have mythic level gear unless you play mythic level content… everything one shots at that level regardless of ilvl if you fail the mechanic. Seems like people just want the best gear to afk in town. What’s the point of that? Mythic+ and mythic raid are massive skill checks, if you aren’t a competitive player then you really have no business getting that gear because it’s literally going to change NOTHING for you. It doesn’t even matter if you had 700 ilvl, no one would invite you for lack of rating and experience.
I just want more currency to drop from these dumb af dungeons that they are rehashing 3 times over.
I’m already bored of Motherlode, I remember it like it was yesterday, but they are adding it in S2. So basically I have to go run a whack dungeon I’m bored of for crests that barely drop.
Just increase the damn numbers of crests, why are they forcing us to rerun rehashed dungeons 100 times? It’s insulting.
I guess you didn’t hear the news?
My only reason that i don’t do mythic at all is the timer and the toxicity it creates. If that was gone i would do mythic. I won’t until then.
I don’t really do m+ because for me they haven’t been much fun. I can’t put my finger on it but just not really into them. I will say, I loved how they were in Shadowlands though. I did them a lot and had a blast.
Id rather swipe than be forced to engage with the M+ pug community.
