Yeah, I’m sure that a writer so creative that went as far as create languages so complex that can be actually spoken would be mortified to see a company literally copy pasting his race concept instead of adding an interesting spin to it.
At the time of launch there weren’t many “high elves” left. Almost all had taken the name of Blood Elf to honor their dead. The ones who dies because the Alliance abandoned them essentially. Even when the elves were working with the Alliance they were given near suicide missions and imprisoned for having the audacity of accepting help to merely survive.
Any so called high elf who wants to be Alliance is cowardly traitorous scum.
