Is Blizzard planning to do anything about anything about Thorium farmers who sell for cash? I spent hrs scouring Ungoro, Plaguelands, Winterspring to little or no avail. I played Classic in the beginning and had some difficulty mining it but not it is horrible. My suggestion is either more veins or more servers.
My recommendation is go a different route or in reverse of the thorium farmers. I just finished getting all the thorium I needed, and while it was slow, I still managed to hit some nodes.
When I was leveling mining I was frequently complaining about how hard it is to find ores. Took me like 5 ours to go up 10 mining levels.
I nabbed a stack and a half or so within 15-20 min in EPL the other night. Might depend on the time and your server.
Saw many of a thorium node in EPL with basically ghosttown of a zone on Azuresong. Of course I was not a miner so that’s always changes when you’re looking for said item(s).
DM jump runs bro.
300+ Thorium just to get the last 25 points of Blacksmithing…
So glad to finally be moved on to Fel Iron. The straw that broke the camel’s back was a Draenei shaman that sniped one of the last veins I needed while I was busy dealing with an ogre in the cave in Burning Steppes
I used thorium to go 10-15 points past 300. Inperial Plate Boots are orange until 315 or 320. The thorium was much easier to farm up than fel iron at this point.
I just find the fel iron more convenient since it’s an area I’ll be questing in at the same time (once the rest of our group finally catches up and I’m able to actually start questing…) and it’ll be nice to have a few crafted pieces going in
I would’ve lost it if I had to circle the Burning Steppes or Eastern Plaguelands one more time…
