This is a nice change, but I personally wish we could also have the option to stay in Visage form while in-combat as well. This isn’t like Worgen where the alternate form is just Human, Visage form has tons of unique visuals so it would be a nice option to have.

They can, but it’s on a 5 min CD and doesn’t get the full benefits of dragonriding progression and the vigor system.
Basically, because they’re half-mortal, they’re not as good at flying as full-blooded dragons or drakes. Neltharion thought that was a worthwhile tradeoff for the mortal attributes that were supposed to make them better fighters. Take it up with him.
I just want to remind people that there is no lore reason for Soar to have a 5 minute cooldown the way it does, and it probably only does because they didn’t want to make it overpowered outside of the dragon isles.
You can make up an excuse all you want but that’s not a canon excuse.

It does feel a bit awkward to have them compromise with players on a subject, only for them to be met with different issues.
I don’t much care for Dracthyr being able to equip armour. Primarily because Dracthyr have unique, coded armour that players can choose.
I also don’t care about Worgen shapeshifting. Unlike Dracthyr the Worgen have a curse that is inherent and not permitting as shapeshifting is.
