This Xpack feels like.... a lot of work?

Look i am enjoying the experience again like i did back in 2007 but… idk man…

Doesnt all this rep grinding and crafting grinding and Primal grinding and the long lvling from 60-70 (actually the longest xpansion lvling in the entire history of WoW) kinda all add up to a lot of busy work?

Im all about #nochanges but to all the OG players from back in the day. Is this how you remember it?

Maybe im getting old… very grindy and time demanding Xpack

All games are busy work. The trick is to find one with work you enjoy.

The product with less pre-endgame grind is retail.

Maybe im too old for TBC classic… i have grown up now, have a family, job, house to look after and friends and family to visit.

It would be nice to have a couple weeks to go back to when i was 20 with not much going on, but i cant…

I hope all the OG players are doing good things with their lives too

I have a little different take on it this time around than I did last time around. Last time I was trying to get to end game. This time I look at it more like watching TV. I can do it for a little while to destress/decompress after work, but there is nothing urgent I am chasing, so the longer it takes, the longer the game can serve that purpose.

Game has been out for 10 days, take a breath. It’s a lot of content, you don’t need to finish it all this week.

Exactly. I already know I’m the best in the world. I don’t need to prove it again.

Not for most of the people I played with.

But I took my time leveling and questing and actually reading the text for lore.

Pretty much like it was except it was a much slower process back then. No attunement flow charts lol. Mentally tougher for those used to doing things solo in retail.

This guy has the right idea! Why rush? Slow down and enjoy the journey.

Was very grindy then. In fact it was the exact same.

This is one of the posts that I’ll even say “Go back to retail.”
You want to be crossing in SL after 3 hours of leveling, well, there you go.
I dunno why you people feel like this game is a race.

I think part of your problem is you feel like you have to keep up with everybody esle. Just go at your own pace. You don’t have to dungeon grind to 70. You don’t have to have all factions at exalted by week 2. Just play and have fun.

Oh, and if you’re on a large PvP server, that could be part of the problem.

There is alot of content, would you rather be already done with everything and raid logging.

Classic vanilla phase 1 became extremely boring phase 1 once everyone got their dungeo gear at 60. Everyone just raid logged until molten core.
I rather be able to get rep goals, gold goals, profession goals, I still havnt gotten a spot in my guild for gruul/mag. On top of all that, arena comes out in a couple of days! Be thankful we got stuff to do man, it will keep the game alive much longer.

This was pretty much my sentiment.

It was always grindy. I remember back then I hit 70 in a week because most of my friends in IRL wanted to hit 70 and do raids. Now I’m taking my time doing the dungeons and questing. I’m level 66 and half and I just finish questing in Zangamarsh.

It’s gonna sound weird, but my favorite part of WoW has always been the leveling. It’s the reason I was super pumped for classic and it brought me back to the game. TBH I’ll probably be done once I get two characters to 70. I like dungeon grinding and questing up to max level though. Everyone is a lot nicer and willing to work together during the leveling process. And it’s just more fun IMO.
