This raid is so trivial

Meanwhile in the real world Tindral one of the hardest non-endbosses in raiding history.

On top of having an entire week to gear up in M+ after a massive ilvl increase in gear. And two sparks for crafting.

Normal raids are normal raids but this didn’t feel like a normal raid it felt way too easy compared to abberus normal on week 1 - 2.

You can’t not notice this.

Go to it on mythic if the raid is too easy for you.

Git.

Tindral is deceptively easy & looks hard, its just spread > stack x 3, 3 dispells after every stack & a few tank soaks then Dragonride to next platform wash repeat.

Granted alot of people have trouble with Dragon Riding but other than that its pretty simple.

All these “Normal are supposed to be easy” excuse response is ridiculous and a thin-layered thought process.

OP has a point that could be elaborated more.

The Amidirssal raid is a satisfying raid for a mid-patch, but it feels unsatisfying as the final raid of the expansion.

In terms of just normal mode, this was also the quickest and easiest raid I’ve gone through. Usually I don’t clear to the final boss in normal on the first week, or it would take several days/pugs/tries, but this raid is just like what OP indiciated: Cleared it with first PUG, first week, and in less than an hour with no wipes.

And Fyrakk being the last boss of the raid would’ve been fine, as a mid-patch, but as the final boss, it’s the biggest let-down in terms of the final boss fight-- even more than the jailer.

It’s obviously not “simple” because required a reset and like 425 pulls to kill Tindral, more than any non-endboss except Fallen Avatar, which was insanely hard. Some of the other bosses may have been harder despite a smaller number of pulls (since Tindral is a relatively short intense fight with a lot of quick wipes), such as stone legion generals and halondrus, but it’s one of the hardest encounters ever made, with more pulls and difficulty than even most endbosses.

I have never been through normal and halfway through heroic in week 1, not even back in the day in hardcore raid guilds it would take atleast 2 weeks tops and normal would be on farm for atleast a month after until everyone was caught up.

I legitimately started to fall asleep halfway through on council.

No raid has EVER been this easy, even nyalotha was harder and that was a joke.

The raids so far have been ordinary and I don’t see this game getting any more creative in the near future. I do see lots of repeato and recycle content coming though.

Really? Your raid team wiped that many times on That boss? Thats tough man, are there alot of new/ish players?

No-one measures boss difficulty by braindead normals. Mythic is what matters.

I like the raid, it’s simple and it did take a a few tries to learn the last boss.

I always think of it like this: normal raid is like LFR back in cata level of difficulty, heroic would be the actual raid and mythic is the new heroic.

They just made it so LFR is so easy that ANYBODY can do it and ignore all the mechanics.

But that is good for me, because I’m not that good so I can enjoy normal raid.

What flexing ??? I don’t even know why i bother on these forums, the raid is crap, it’s trivial, it’s boring end of story, don’t like it? Go away?!

Normal is trivial. It is supposed to be. If you want difficulty with more diverse, interesting mechanics, pull mythic.

What are you on about?

Yeah. This is a weird thread.

“Shocking news everyone! An AOTC raider found normal to be easy”

I mean tswift is an obvious crazy fight that is very well done, but just looking at pull counts it appears that the raid has a pretty blatant difficulty cliff to it rather than gradual increase and that kind of difficulty model will trickle down to easier difficulties.

For mythic it’s going to come down to how well done Fyrakk is. My gut instinct is he won’t he able to live up to tswift, but who knows.

Normal has always barely been a step above LFR.

Which is why I propose the removal of LFR and make Normal queueable.

Normal is designed to be cleared by people who are 20 iLvls lower than the loot it drops. When you walk in there iLvl 465+ you just steam roll it.

Even Heroic became significantly easier when we walked in there 20 iLvls higher than last week. We struggled on Smolderon for a while, but this week it was a 1 shot.

Heroic Fyrakk is a bit of a joke though and is one of the easiest aotcs I’ve seen in years. The only difficulty in that fight is the healers needing to deal with a billion dispels and having to heal waves of npcs.
