This Name is Not Available - But it is?

Hey guys,

I’m hoping I can get some help getting a name - I transferred my character and in the creation screen there’s a Green check beside the name, saying its available. However, when I go to click ‘done’ it says its unavailable. It isn’t any swear word that’s inappropriate its a food type and an animal lol. I’ve blurred the name so no one trolls and takes it, but anyone else have this issue?

Its a hilarious name that has some sentimental value to a friend of mine who’s recently had some life issues and we’re making new characters together - it’d mean a lot of i could get this fixed.

Would OBV give the name to a GM that could fix it?

I also have armory searched the name and there’s like 4 people in all of NA with the name, none of which are on my server obv.

Edit: tried to include imgue of the issue but cant?

A gm cant give a name if its unavalable. Unfortunately the armory isnt reliable the name could be on a toon under lvl 10 so it wouldnt show up on armory.

A character created but never logged in on would not show on the armory but would lock the name.

A character left dormant on an active account would drop from the armory but would lock the name.

Getting a check mark but getting the message that it is “unavailable” might be a bug. You might want to file a bug report.

I’m not certain why it is showing a check mark, Fritters, it appears the name is currently taken so that it has a check mark would probably be considered a bug. Sorry for the confusion.
