Completed 4/5 of the assault quests. On completion the 5th and final meet Usha Eyegouge quest disappeared from map. Tried disabling all addons, reload ui, porting back to Daz then hearthing back to Stormsong Valley, relogging and Turning off Wow entirely and restarting the computer. None of it worked for me to complete the faction assault.
Last option was abandon the quest and port back to Orgrimmar. Ported back to Stormsong Valley and the faction assualt quest pops up. I click on it and check my map - no points what so ever…what a let down. Submitted a ticket, 13 hours later response received only to say to report it here as a bug report.
Missed out on gear and or possible Titan Residuum, medals of honour and wasted time and effort of which i will probably not recoup. That’s Wow I suppose…
There are ongoing issues with assaults in Stormsong Valley. On my rogue, it is not possible to do any assault quests there, because any single kill quests phase out when you get near them. Unless you are a ranged class, it’s not possible to complete them, since at mele range, the quest (and the mob) disappears. This happens in every Stormsong Valley assault on my rogue.
This morning the effected quests were Cap’n Gorok and Shadow Hunter Mutumba. With those 2 gone, it’s not possible to complete the invasion with only the 3 remaining quests.
I’m having a similar issue today in Stormsong Valley. Only 3 quests of 4 appear on my map. Did all other available quests on the off chance …but no joy. Unable to complete - and Horde of Heroes is the only one I need for the achievement.
Okay, so I logged out of my druid (the one that was having issues with the quests) and logged in on my 120 hunter, saw where the quests were on the map, logged out and back in on on my druid, went to the appropriate place and voilà, there it was, even though it didn’t show on the map. Was able to complete Assault as well as Achievement. Yay.
