This mob should be changed to Subjugated Elemental.

Yes, but you seem to be the person claiming that it’s an offensive name. I’ve seen no evidence that Blizzard have made that claim. Therefore, we’re asking YOU why you think it’s offensive, or could be perceived by someone else to be offensive.

People get very very upset about words these days. That goes for both sides. If you find yourself upset about a word, or upset that other people are upset about a word, chill out and find something more important to focus on.

I actually think “Subjugate Demon” is better than “Enslave Demon”.

This happens a lot less than people claim. You get the very occasional overreaction, which could easily be ignored as an outlier if people weren’t so intent on having a culture war. But instead people blow things out of proportion. One weirdo on the internet objects to a word or term, and people react as if there’s some huge conspiracy going on. But there isn’t.

Honestly I don’t particularly care either way.
But if I am asked to choose a side I have way more empathy for people who find enslavement, slavery, and slaves a bit of a sore subject.
People complaining about enslave becoming subjugate so furiously that cheeto dust clouds are rising from their keyboards really have no leg to stand on.
Historians started using enslaved instead of slave to distinguish between the person and the condition. And of course everyone had to lose their minds over it. When will these ridiculous culture wars end?

I’m not suggesting that YOU find it offensive, but obviously you think there’s a reason why SOMEONE might find it offensive, and that that reason is the reason the name was changed. I’m asking why you believe that.
Are you kidding me? There was literally a man who had to serve JAIL TIME because he taught his girlfriends dog how to do a specific salute on youtube. He was jailed because people… found it offensive.
It’s not just North America that has to put up with the nutty woke culture BS.
If it was not offensive in some sort Blizzard would not have changed it. They have changed names, such as Overwatch’s Cole Cassidy, because many rightfully found the old name offensive. Ask Blizzard.
EDIT: Also, everyone who reported as trolling I hope you do not continue to misuse and abuse Blizzard’s Forum Tools in such a manner in the future.
