Well, I mean, if Blizzard wants to exchange overtuned content for a lower retention rate, I suppose that they can. I always thought that retention rates were something every game dev went for, I guess not.
You would be wrong. I pug every season, got every portal side from dawn of the infinite, and got KSM on six characters that season. Far from being a nightmare, I actually had fun, unlike in TWW.
I had an interesting one in Echoes last night. I couldn’t click any button on the screen and my character auto ran to the edge of the map. I had to alt-f4 out of the key. Thankfully this happened just right before we killed the last boss so I was able to get my loot.
Completely irrelevant, different game entirely. They already had peak retention rate in terms of mythic+, so it only makes sense to continue from what they did in that season.
Dawnbreaker is fine if you don’t get any bugs. If you do, and there are many, it’s a frustrating disaster.
SV is much better now that the vent mechanic and crescendo doesn’t overlap anymore.
Mists - the only really annoying thing is the knockback they gave to the maze trash. Casting a heal… knocked back… recast it… knocked back… tank dies. That happened only once though.
CoT 3rd and 4th bosses are not fun.
Grim Batol is much better with the Erudax changes.
Siege of Boralus is far and away the worst dungeon of the season and possibly ever. The trash packs in there are harder than everything else in the game.
I’m talking about difficulty between the two at comparable lvls and you keep talking about the loot… Not sure how many ways I can say the difficulty is the issue not the loot faucet…
Maybe they want us to do hard CC… Maybe they want us to explore some stuffs we’ve never done for M+. Get a DK, death grip it then have someone to hard CC it… kill the rest of the mobs while the Caster mob is under hard CC.
Someone on reddit compared the data of weekly runs between week 1 and 2 of TWW M+. It’s not looking very optimistic lol, and it’s going to only have bigger drops if we don’t see way more drastic improvements:
nerf first boss of city, make the pool grow alot slower or cut its damage in half. make the stun for failed orb 1sec not 2.5 so there is atleast a chance on fail to survive and not get stunned in a cone
I think it would be beneficial to add that before 2nd boss in city of threads the 90 seconds of unskippable RP you have to sit there and do nothing but listen to the guy as he walks up the stairs and spawns the next boss.
