That’s absolutely being entitled. LOL
Everyone has the same chance to get multiple items from one boss and everyone has the same chance to get zero items from one boss. Your reward should be enjoying yourself in the content. If you aren’t do something else that is fun.

I was just going to make this topic. I agree honestly, personal loot felt better.
I have lost a lot of items even with 90’s rolls.
But surely if group loot is so good, why not have that in keystones? Personal loot exists in keys and it is garbage. I swear I must have ran 10 dungeons with only gold. Thank GOD for crests now otherwise I would not have been progressing my character at all.

Except no one goes for content everyone goes for reward, if theres no reward people would not go there, you must be new to wow or something

Yeah not sure what game you are playing…

Let’s stop arguing in absolutes, because that’s not true of everyone. Maybe you and some others, but not all.
Been here since Vanilla, thanks!
The same one I’ve been playing since 2006. If you hate it, don’t do it.
This is what’s wrong with GD posters.

The main driver of the game is the loot. People progressing their character. I don’t really see how you could even debate otherwise.
That is why they added seasons. I get the sense the seasons are pretty popular.
The seasons are a clean slate for everyone in terms of gear.
Maybe back in the day classic, BC you could argue the leveling journey was a fun gameplay RP thing, but not anymore. Now everything is just a race to the top.

Group loot was trash back when they had it in dungeons, too. Gear dropped that no one could equip, which never happens with personal loot. Yet we keep hearing that turning up your nose at loot that’s not good enough to suit you is the exact same thing as a bow dropping with no hunter in the group. Or two bows! So what you’re supporting is less loot for those groups you think don’t deserve loot, because gear that can’t be equipped means less usable loot.

Personal can have built-in luck protection over time, Roll can never accommodate that. It is slots versus lottery, the house versus your fellow player, in perception and in mechanics; no matter how equivalent you think you can make them out to be, they are not the same.
Oh, and then there’s always the bugger who keeps everyone waiting for the entire countdown bar while dancing in our face just to troll.

You wanting your own reward for killing bosses is fine.
You caring what other random strangers get because of a random roll that you also made is the entitlement/selfishness.

Then you’re a horrible person who didn’t trade loot you didn’t need.
That was your choice. And if you couldn’t trade it because it was an ilvl upgrade, then that was the game’s way of telling you you needed to equip it so you could trade it next time it dropped.
Group Loot is terrible. Everyone needs anything they can. Even if they don’t actually need it. Because it has a gold price value.

Thanks for the insult when YOU DIDN’T READ.
Don’t ever speak to me like that again.

probably cause in 3-going on 4 weeks I have won like 1 out of like 35 rolls. Feels good

It’s not much different than constantly getting drops that nobody needs, like the same rings, cloaks, and necks every run. Still a very small loss.
Sounds like my luck with PL. That’s RNG for ya.

I’ve run every week in LFR and haven’t got a single piece. Went 8/9 in normal and didn’t get a single piece. Had a rogue trade me one item he won. Watched a DH roll need on every leather piece that dropped, even intellect ones, and walk out of the raid like the cat who caught the canary. Best part, he didn’t actually need any of it. The system is crap.

Weve had like 20 bows drop in raid but we dont have a single hunter. So group loot is pretty bad for everyone who isnt doing split runs.
You can’t roll need on things you can’t use for your set loot spec. Which means that the piece had Agility on it.
You don’t know that. This stuff can be upgraded now and it can be turned into tier in a couple of weeks.
It just sounds to me like you don’t fully understand the gearing system and will instead happily agree with people who call others a horrible person for not doing something they couldn’t do in the first place.
This is what’s wrong with most of GD. No one fully understands the system and would rather just trash others without a full comprehension of things and continue the toxicity instead of learning.

You mean you’d rather roll against the game instead of players fully geared in mythic that don’t need the gear? You silly goose.

It was never about others, its about doing content and not getting anything out of it… then again i dont do LFR,
If that’s the problem, then it’s not group loot that’s the issue.
It’s how atrociously low the drop rates are for raid loot.
In a 25 player raid, you get 5 items from a boss. 20 players don’t get an item from each boss.
