Hi all.
I bought the enchant ‘Strength of Soul’ from the auction house, but when I try to use it on my hands armor ‘Corrupted Aspirants Chain Gauntlets’, I get the message “This item cannot be equipped”.
Same for ‘Corrupted Aspirants Chain Armor’ (chest armor) with enchant 'Eternal Skirmish"
Same for ‘Corrupted Aspirants Band’ (ring) with enchant 'Tenet of Mastery"
All enchants say “Requires level 50”. My character is level 50, or does it mean item level 50?
Thanks in advance.
Only thing i can think of is a bad uI id try a full reset and posting in the bug forums.

Do you have Shadowlands?
Also applying to a item(gloves) that was found in Shadowlands?
The 50 has XP off?

Did you recently level to 50, Talkurapion? And were you leveling in Chromie time?
Try logging out and back in first, but you might also try resetting your UI as Darthwraith recommended.

It doesn’t seem to be an issue with the enchants as my lvl 50 Dwarf Shaman was just able to enchant her Corrupted Aspirant’s Chain Gauntlets with Enchant Gloves - Strength of Soul.
That was the only piece of gear she still had equipped that was the same as what you were attempting to enchant, but I don’t see why the others should cause an issue.

Thanks for the replies.
I’ve been at level 50 for a few weeks already. I think the xp is off, since it stopped going up at 50.
I’ve reset the UI, but the problem remains.
Vrakthris, I don’t know what Chromie time is.
Do you own the Shadowlands expansion? If not, then that would explain the not leveling part, as you would be restricted to the Battle for Azeroth expansion (which caps at 50).

I don’t know if I own the Shadowlands expansion, I certainly did not pay for anything other than a WoW subscription. But I am happy at 50, it’s just the problem with equipping the items.
The enchant OP is trying to use is also from Shadowlands enchanting.
Can you use enchants, etc, from expansions you don’t own?

Then if you did not purchase the expansion, then you are working with the Battle for Azeroth expansion cap — that (and all expansions before it) is free with just a subscription.

That would be a very good question. Unfortunately, I cannot test that theory as my account is upgraded to Shadowlands.
The alt I tested on has not done the intro quests to Shadowlands but the mere fact I own it while OP doesn’t might be the reason I works for me and not for them.

If this is the case, I think the game should not allow items that can’t be used to be bought, because it’s just a waste of time and gold.

Good suggestion, but alas, the devs do not frequent the CS forums for player feedback.
You can try to use the in-game suggestion tool to let the devs know though.

Yes.
This is the reason I/we asked.
If you don’t have the expac/level/item type/etc.
There are limmits ,sometimes max level requirements.
I did not have to work with a mask on my face today…
