What could be worse than waiting for 1:30 hrs for a bg?

The game is literally forcing you to play with premades only.

No, thatās not even remotely worst than 1hr ques.
Most players would take 10 minute ques any day even if they had to always face a premade as a pug.

Premades never belonged in the general queueing to begin with and Blizzard (sort of) tried to (and failed) to correct it in Cata.
Purely, there needs to be intelligence that puts X size group queueing against X similar size group queueing. Technically speaking, this should be a slam dunk, the basics of it are already in the game. All it would take is an extra step in the matching sub-routine to check for āpre-groupedā players entering the queue and their size.
The original idea was to make premades competitive, but that didnāt work. People just donāt like PVPing and want the guaranteed āWā. Take that away and force them to work for it and I ensure you that the number of full/larger premade groups will dwindle fast. It will eventually just be the folks that āwantā to play in a group vs. the ones who feel āforcedā to do so.
Game social engineering can be done, it isnāt hard, itās a matter of āis Blizzard willing to do the right thingā.

From 2.1 - āThe new battleground matchmaking system is now implemented and active. This system allows the battleground to select teams of similar equipment quality and organizational level to battle each other. For now, the system will be very forgiving about creating matchups in order to keep queue times low. However, the parameters will be adjusted as necessary when more organized teams become active in the battlegrounds.ā
More from 2.1 (Undocumented) A gear-matching system has been implemented to battlegrounds. When queuing up to a battleground, you are much less likely to meet opponents with largely inferior or superior gear than yours.
The honor cost of most PvP items have been lowered.
From 2.4 - (Undocumented Change) Battleground matchmaking for premades has been tightened, so it is more likely that a premade will meet a group with similar gear. This can result in longer queue times for premades.

if u quoted the whole message ur post wouldnāt make sense, so u cut my post in half in order to say something instead of being quiet
the game isnt forcing anyone to āonly play against premades.ā its just that theres alot of alliance premades queueing so youre more likely to queue into one of those than a pug. and to be honest, most of the ally premades are garbage since theyre made from trade chat and you can beat them with a group of 3-5 people or an entire pug.
I have yet to go against a horde premade while playing my ally in BGs in a premade or solo. Iāve done a few hundred games. Not saying they donāt exist but they are rare. 5 man horde groups and stuff sure, full premades well I just havenāt seen them at all since prepatch.
Sounds like a player issue. Horde can create pre-mades exactly like alliance can.

Because the matchmaking either never worked or never existed.

Third of all you are whining about something but Iām really trying to figure out what.
Fourth of all, HORDE CAN MAKE PRE-MADES TOO 
I know that. Iāve played in plenty of horde premades. Iām just telling you how it is.
Drive out all the casuals and all thatās left is the pre-maces.
