This is the suckiest WoW anniversary

I was responding to the comment about being unable to make a group for the world bosses.

As for chromie you will probably only be able to complete that on Tuesday Wednesday or Thursday after that it’s just too late in the week there’s no reason to spam do it so everyone’s only doing it once.

However after the first three weeks once people hit their 100 coins you will be able to spam do chromie and get coins from it so yes this first three weeks is going to suck after that there should be groups going all week long

Yeah like I said in my comment above unfortunately for the first three weeks if you don’t do it on Tuesday Wednesday or Thursday you’re pretty much going to be Sol

Until that achievement is unlocked for the 100 coins there’s just no point in killing the world bosses more than once so after Thursday it’s just going to be hard to get groups going

However after that first 100 coins you will be able to spam Farm them so there should always be groups going

I Qed for it solo last night, I only got 3 minutes of farming on the isle when it popped.

I had qed with two friends the night before, we were hanging around the event doing the things and it didn’t pop after 30 minutes so we gave up.

Not sure if it was the location or the group that was breaking the Q, but that’s my story. And the new chicken looking mount is pretty nice!

You should have been there for the 6-month anniversary. They tried to claim that there was no such thing.

What are you on about, the heroic raid drops hero track items from each boss.

Tons of stuff on the store to spend your hard earned money on though like a Macrotransaction to make up for lost subs and a pet that Blizzard will use to pay less taxes.

Pay 90$ and you can join the celebration of you being their customer.

100% of the proceeds go to charity, which means it’s not income, which means it isn’t calculated in their taxes.

I’m concerned about the number of voter-eligible people that don’t know how taxes work lol.

A huge issue is, that only level 80 chars can loot stuff at BRD or do Chromie. This lowers the possible points and rewards by a big amount.

Never before, did Blizzard alienate a huge amount of it´s playerbase, but I see a trend there.

This.
Too much marketing for an event that’s always been fairly minimal.

Add on 10% from wicker man

Charity donations are tax deductible, you use them to pay less taxes than you would without them

You can deduct them, not Blizzard, in this case.

I’m honestly kind of impressed by the amount of snivelling whining that people have gotten up to with this; like they added multiple events all designed to celebrate WoW’s history, we’re getting a gorgeous mount for participating and none of it is actually mandatory so if for whatever reason you decide not to do the events you’re not actually worse off.

Hell they’ve gone and officially added vanilla content to the Timewalking track with an updated and streamlined version of Blackrock Depths to ensure that we have a Raid.

It’s almost impressive how put upon people can come across as.

You know I’ve already got enough grinds to keep me busy. Players are already grinding coffer keys, grinding delves, grinding M+, grinding raids, grinding professions, grinding gold, grinding alts, grinding whatever it is they are doing in the game.

It isn’t out of line to once in a while expect something to NOT be a grind. Like when you have a special event. Like an Anniversary celebration for it to just be a fun experience you can pop in do a few chores get some nice rewards and not have to spend months and months grinding it.

It really isn’t too much to ask. Unless you already no lifed all the other grinds and now don’t have anything else to do. The rest of us are already up to our eyeballs in grinds.

Tbf, doing a couple of things a week really isn’t a grind

I suppose for folks who play the game 12 hours a day what’s another 12 hours a week huh? For people that have lives and responsibilities outside the game wanting another 12 hours a week every week for the next 3 months, especially over a time period where we are going to have all the Holidays coming up is a huge ask on Blizz’s part.

They couldn’t have messed this up more if they had tried.

I have not even gone and tried the event yet. I am just still doing things to get my vault up with things to choose from on next reset. I just can not seem to get into it or even want to go all the way there for it.

Yeah it’s been fun. A whole new raid is pretty cool.
