Don’t worry they will make MM better by fixing BM barbed shot double procing wild spirts and then throw out a 5% buff to balance druids.

You know, I swapped Venthyr a few weeks ago for PVP reasons and a sad attempt to at least partially recreate a bit of the feeling from old SV.
So. I guess I’ll be okay! Because I’ll suck in dungeons no matter what xD.

Pure dps class btw. Meanwhile hybrids are having the time of their lives with 16k chain harvests, 20k convoke starsurges and ringing divine tolls.

Sadly they nerfed us early on when we were propped up by the bug. 5% on aimed and arcane. Which was around 2.5-3%.
This bug basically cause NF to lose 3% in ST and 7% in AoE. Given this tier is very AoE heavy, it was a pretty significant nerf.
We can only hope that they buff us in return so we can go back to being middle of the road.
I wish blizzards balancing team actually put forth more effort to do minor changes instead of these “bug” fixes that dumpstered both WW and MM.

This just means that anyone who gets out dps’d by a hunter is terribad and we can drag them for days.

The nerfs are actually worse for MM because Hunters typically get fed PI during WS, correct? Now that the spec (NF implied) does less damage within that window, we lose PI, thus making the spec look even worse.

What hurts me the most is that the changes didn’t even include a developer note. Generally when making changes to a program or platform through a patch you include your intentions for said changes. Blizzard gave no explanation, and has been silent even with all the outrage.
A simple, “We see the hunter’s position right now after the changes and will review internally” would be better than nothing. I can’t believe there is zero communication.

Agreed, the lack of communication or any blue posts from blizzard about how poor hunters are performing in pve and pvp is truly discouraging.

I mean the note they would have attached would have been something like F hunters we don’t like them. So I get why they didn’t include this.

I think the one that makes me laugh more are the BM hunters happy to see MM kneecapped, because they were angry that people that enjoy MM were happy not to be forced into BM for yet another expansion. Like, now the entire dang class is in the bottom 5, and all you got is to feed your spite against peeps that prefer MM?
Blizzard’s balance team is just throwing darts at a board these days.
I mean, would you have preferred one of Ion’s famous “yes, we could have done better, and we’re definitely listening” followed by absolutely zero buffs and maybe a few more nerfs? Because that’s the alternative here. Blizzard doesn’t even know how to properly communicate (or listen) anymore.

I honestly don’t understand any player who finds joy in seeing their other specs nerfed. Like. Great, if you ever wanted to swap you’re now weaker. And if you weren’t going to, it doesn’t effect you in the long run so why do you want others to also end up in the gutter?
I’m still convinced they have no clue why SV remains unpopular and why even many of its current fans aren’t happy with the spec atm.
Blizz doesn’t seem to care to listen to reasoning or worry too much about how we are performing.
But you’re wrong. It’s not a dartboard. They use the chicken method.

That’s what’s so frustrating.
Getting into groups is already a nightmare and when your class is garbage at the only thing it can do, you’re pretty much out of options.
I already abandoned BM in this xpac… now with MM being useless, I’m done with PvE as a whole.

Of course they don’t. They’re probably mad that there are more MM hunters then the entire rogue or monk classes and almost as many as warlocks.

BM and MM are still better than Arms and Sub rogues, so there is room to nerf us more sadly.

I’ve started beating the arms warriors I see in arenas fairly consistently now. I actually do enough damage to kill them as BM and the nerf to their legendary made it so I can survive them more now.
So yeah, I await to see them get buffs while we simultaneously get nerfed.
