Well, nevermind what I said then. Oops x2.

Harsh, but fair.
Enjoy your long queues throughout all of TBC.
Enjoy long queues throughotu WotLK also when you fotm reroll to alliance.
If it wasn’t sustainable players wouldn’t play on the realm.
I have an alliance pvp toon settle down angry one
I’m just pointing out blizz will probably just import their retail solution and call it a day
Oh yeah…that’ll be popular.
Let’s hear your brilliant plan for forcing players to faction change, how will you decide which players will log in one day and find their characters are all human, gnome, dwarf and night elf.
I doubt it. Blizzard hasn’t just added retail systems to try and solve problems.
Oh really? What’s layering? An adaptation of a retail solution ?
Sharding is very different than layering.
It is the same thing except continent wide
It also doesn’t change on its own, and doesn’t involve other servers. It’s a system they came up with to deal with the massively higher population.
Merc mode is a terrible system that wasn’t utilized often on retail and would be detrimental to TBCC.
Based on sharding
And? It’s not a retail system.
Adaptation of retail system for classic
We can keep going in circles forever
And you want the merc system straight up, rather than a system that drew partially from a retail system. Said system is garbage, and layering is at least somewhat better.
I didn’t say I want it
I said I expect blizz to eventually add it as a bandaid
I don’t think they will. It goes against the PvP system of the game.
Agree to disagree
Gotta define this.
Just play where and what you want. Everybody has the same options.
Press Alt f4 and pour water on the outlet that your tower plugs into. That’s how you get merc mode now. I just tried it myself.
