We’re 3 days into SoD.
There’s a total of, what… 4? Dungeons in this level range. You weren’t going to be tanking much to begin with and certainly not for a long time. If you’re not satisfied getting it and then continuing to tank for fun… that’s a you problem.
Also, its a 10 man raid, if you dont have 9 friends to do it once casually, I dont know what to tell you.
As you level past 25 the raid will get easier to do, as well.
If stuff is locked in a 40 man raid at 60, its an actual problem. Until that happens, y’all are just a bunch of cry babies. Geez.

There are only 3 dungeons right now. The only reason I made a lock was for Meta. It’s reasonable to call bad decisions bad. It’s unreasonable to defend this bad decision. A long quest chain is fine, locking it deep behind the raid is not. There were so many demon areas, mobs, places that meta could have been tied to, instead they took the lazy route and locked it behind a raid. It used to be a dungeon though, which would have also been fine, considering SFK is pretty time efficient to form and complete. But you can’t go in OG BFD and do it that way either. So sorry for having feelings about poor decision making when Meta was front and center for SoD. I didn’t want to play regular Lock for the umpteenth time again. I wanted to tank RFC, WC, SFK as Meta, like Shaman tanks are doing. But please keep gatekeeping people because you’re way less adverse to Blizzard bending you over.

Their rune doesn’t give them a 6 second aoe taunt. Make their main ST ability a cleave, make one of their dps abilites instant, doesn’t give them a charge, doesn’t give them more ways to regen mana. And that’s without mentioning the armor 500% or the simple fact that you can turn into a demon.

And your point? Shaman tanks are busted. Have you had them tank for you at all? It’s the freest aggro control I’ve ever seen in Classic.
“Busted” in level 25 and lower content doesn’t mean much you can get threat by literally existing. We also have barely even seen meta at all yet. They might even be better.
Bad design to have 1 whole role locked behind the raid, couldn’t have made it 20 so that we could tank dungeons before the raid? Absolutely bad design.

Yes, it is. The current end of the game is level 25, with Blackfathom Deeps. In phase 2, it will be 40, with whatever raid(s) for that, then 50 in phase 3, and then 60 will presumably be split into more phases for each of the standard Vanilla raids
If this weren’t the endgame of phase 1 then we wouldn’t be locked at level 25, we would have more runes to find in higher level areas, and they wouldn’t be making balancing changes to bring Hunter and Mage in line based on their performance in BFD. I really do not understand how this is so complicated for you people

It’s complicated because you literally make no sense. You’re saying this phase is endgame to help justify whatever problems you have with SoD.
Again, not endgame. Neither will the 40 phase be endgame, and neither will the 50 phase be endgame.

Shamans can get the tanking rune early game and start tanking all the dungeons up to level cap. Why are Warlocks the only ones who get shafted.

Did you just admit that you don’t even pay attention to your own words as you type them?
I hear everyone say that it’s not lvl 60 and not endgame which is true but it is the only class being gated from the whole spec by 25 levels and a raid. I would see nothing wrong if Locks could access tanking abilities prior to and that meta only made them more efficient but the fact is Meta changes all of the spells and abilities to the tank version. Til then Locks are forced to play a certain style far longer then any other class in SoD , So this is almost like taking the ability of aggro control from the other tanks then saying " it’s only 25 levels it’s not endgame this is stupid". Where is the equal opportunity WoW once had?
Never expect or think you deserve anything in an MMORPG. Level your lock and do the raid or swallow the pill and accept you aren’t going to be a warlock tank. People are already clearing BFD. It’s not an uber duber hard raid. Suck it up and do it or don’t, either way is fine.

I think the funniest part is they said it wasn’t bugged and was available. And…then hotfixed it in because they put a quest in what once was a 5 man dungeon and now a raid (which you can’t do quests in a raid group).
