This is my record for the past month

I dunno, my endless screenshots of winning battles, with me at the top of the chart, tells me otherwise.

AV 1.12 removed the NPCs and made it PvP mayhem. It is glorious and will continue to be glorious.

Get gud. Win AV. Then get back to me.

Should have pre made more

Is this what the horde actually think about the current version of AV relative to other vanilla iterations? Can anyone else confirm?

You wanna win AV as alliance? Send 10-15 people to SHGY to defend it, the rest go to Snowfall and sit on it till it caps, if you have people doing turn ins you use the druids to help defend SHGY and then SHGY summons Ivus, if not you merge into Snowfall when it caps, horde will go north and a few will push for snowfall. Defend Snowfall till they move on, cap IBGY and wait for it to cap UNLESS Horde owns SPGY, If they own SPGY push to Relief hut asap and cap gy. Start Warmasters or pally pull Drek.

Share this strat, this is the only strat that has won me games on alliance side and lost me games as Horde

1.12 did remove / nerfed the NPCs in AV to the point that they are able to be steamrolled. This is why the Allies were able to zerg Drek during the premades, and is also why the Horde are able to control the map from Stonehearth. No amount of turn-ins will make the NPC pressure in 1.12 high enough to push the Horde back to midfield even; hell the ram riders just despawn themselves and no one has ever seen a gryphon rider, Alliance NPCs in AV are hot trash.

I was more referring to the “it’s glorious” aspect when referring to 1.12 AV. Do Horde actually think this is the most glorious iteration of Vanilla AV, such as Jee indicated? Or is this just a ranker trying to justify his skill-less ranking system?

They NERFED Pre-Mades. So Blizzard can do something

Now the can #movethehordecave

FACTS!!!

The few losses I experience a week fly directly in the face of this statement.

Usually it comes down to either a coordinated offense or a turtle at SHGY. The turtle usually ends with them using any available summons and making a mad push south.

Of my losses, I’d say half of them relied on the above strat.

You guys just need stop phoning it in.

It’s glorious because the only people mad are people who phone it in and watch stuff on a second monitor while they AV.

If you ain’t putting in the effort, you ain’t winning AV. QQ moar.

How many fish did you catch and how many rams did you skin in all those AV’s?

Lol you really didn’t catch that the topic of that conversation and watching stuff on a second monitor was molten core. Even after being told twice. High Warlord material tho amirite

A retuned 1.5 AV would be objectively good for the game in every regard, but it would mean you wouldn’t have been able to rank in AV so I guess I see why you’d naturally be averse to that - you would have had to rank in real battlegrounds, which I doubt you could have.

All the posts saying Alliance are just “crying”

When Last month Horde did nothing but whine about premade groups and calling people cheaters.

The crying was so bad I switched factions.

If you are talking about the AV imbalance, Blizzard proved that they do care. AV was changed a bunch of times, years ago.

But this is Classic. You are CHOOSING to play the “before it was fixed” version of WoW. You are CHOOSING not to play the one that Blizzard improved.

Don’t blame Blizzard for your choices. That’s silly.

k. Doesn’t change my point, our team has same problems of lack of effort and we overcome it. There are a handful of dedicated AV players like myself who can turn tide with 5-6 people, change layout of a battle, and make a push happen if we need to.

Well, I made it to Warlord without Warsong. I started today and I’ve lost a handful of times, and we still put up a fight.

You can keep raging, spitting, and attacking the person, or, you can admit Alliance sucks at AV. You guys dominated it back in my day after the changes. I know the strats, because I countered them sometimes!

The primary problem is you all still treat it as a PvE rush. The teams that actively engage in PvP are the winners, just like when I rallied Horde to defend against the premades that put trash tier PvPers in top ranks and gear for me to tear down for massive gains over the last few weeks.

Sorry the gravy train ended, get gud.

Alliance are weaklings, what else is new.

Yes, that’s the point. You ranked in a skill-less manner. This would not be possible with 1.5 AV, you would have had to win WSG games consistently in order to rank; thanks for proving my point for me!

AV is a joke of a BG and should not net high HPH - as it was in the 1.5 days. Your achievement, again, means nothing - you seem to be really proud of your time-dump, though, hilariously enough.

They cry a LOT too.

Yeah Horde have definitely never been known for that. Tears are definitely not flowing from Horde in just this recent thread alone:

Let’s see how long it takes for your massive horde outrage to get changes from Blizzard this time.

Thing is Horde outrage in the past has been justified due to Alliance actually having to cheat to win. I honestly didn’t care because I just like to PvP and prefer when games are more even. The problem is the AV problem isn’t a problem in other regions. Alliance in NA are genuine crybabies who shoot themselves in the foot. They afk, avoid PvP in favor of rushing, or just giving up. Meanwhile in other regions Alliance are winning over 50% of the time in AV. I have zero sympathy but would honestly rather you cry babies just try. Today I actually lost an AV. First time all week. But you know what? It was fun as hell. We played tug of war at SH then IB, then SF, then back to IB then we got pushed back all the way to base. But it was a blast. If we lost half the games but they were all like that? I’d really enjoy AV. Stomping a team that gives up after their failed attempt at avoiding PvP is not fun.
