Ahhh yes, the NPC’s that scale up with player gear and the Warmasters/Marshals that link to the Generals while also having their TBC buffs is much more authentic than an AV that was actually in Vanilla.
What does Stalagg PvP consist of? Logging in to Ironforge and being spawn camped in your own city?
Nvm, just checked, you don’t even play that character anymore. I guess Stalagg Alliance PvP consists of posting one-liners on the forums.
Yes, yes it is more authentic. The version we are stuck with for all of Classic was live for roughly 10% of vanilla’s duration. Korrak is much closer to the version we played the other 90% of the time.
6 months from patch 1.11 to the TBC pre-patch is not 10% of Vanilla.
I’m on a balanced server now. Worth it over a pve experience.
Heartseeker. The type of person who claims this version of AV is the good version & fitting to the ‘vanilla experience’. Enough said.
Stalagg. The type of person who puts words in other people’s mouths. I never claimed this is the “good” version. Enough said.
Imagine being this upset because you lacked foresight to transfer for free. I’m sorry you had to pay 15 or 20 dollars or whatever it is to do the exact same thing I did.
I just cannot grasp what is going through Blizzard’s mind right now. They instituted #SomeChanges to eliminate Alliance premades in AV, but now they’re sitting on their hands when Horde has a 95% win rate. What??? Like not even a blue post to say they’re collecting data or anything… silence. EA should watch out Blizz is coming for your worst game company trophy.

Wasn’t a lack of foresight, it was simply not wanting a Stalagg in reverse. Heartseeker lol
ok mr 10k paladin lol
Right?
Been saying this for years. Must be getting close by now.
lolseeker.
I find this the most frustrating of all. They didn’t waste time making changes to break premades but one side dominating and we get crickets for weeks, months even.
They are obviously aware of the issue by now.
AV in EU:
Warlord Jee reporting in.
Usually not this crass but…
You guys just suck. Sorry, that’s the facts.
When you have stacked, effective teams, you dominate the field and roll us up, toss us aside, and win the game.
Unfortunately your average game is filled with poopy-pants mentality that plagued us during premade season.
You know how I maintained a positive Win Ratio throughout?
I became the change I wanted to see.
I lead the team.
I was ye olde drill sergeant AV lead who shot straight and took no poopy-pants attitudes lightly.
I denied the whiners the chance the drag the team down with motivational speaking in the cave as we waited.
BE THE HERO ALLIANCE DESERVES, BE THE LEAN, MEAN, AV GRINDING MACHINE THAT TELLS THEM HOW TO WIN.
Or keep losing. I have more AVs to dominate. More scalps to collect on my path to glory.
I will see you on the field, where I will teach you the definition of strife.
We already had our trial by fire. This is yours.
QQ moar kids.
Oh wow, that suddenly makes me respect you more. Definitely not less. Definitely.
Notice how short all of those games except for one (horde win btw) are? All that post means is that horde on EU are still sometimes going for short games - to the Alliance advantage. When Horde defend for the long game, ie 60 minute games, they still win. There are plenty of threads on EU complaining about the same thing btw.
I literally don’t even play AV anymore - it doesn’t take a genius to look at those statistics. C’mon Heartseeker.
It means:
C’mon rank 10,000.
It doesn’t, though. It just means horde aren’t using their advantage to the fullest on EU because they still value short games, contrary to what their advantage demands.
Also, caring about rank in Classic implies you have no skill - it’s literally time commitment. Running from world PvP to PvEseeker, on the other hand, shows no backbone. No resilience.
Right you are, prior me.
I’m looking at the logs where you wiped a dozen times because you don’t know how to tank heal.
Rank 10,000, rofl.
