It is very sad how Blizzard has no respect for their player base. We are getting screwed over while Blizzard is catering to China and the bots on our servers.
Considering the BL changes that help the playerbase and hurt the bots…your comment is absolute gold
Is this not obvious? The depth of a friendship is zero when you have zero time spent with a person, and it goes up or possibly down (albeit not linearly) when you spend time with that person. Time spent influences the depth of a friendship. You don’t immediately become life long comrades after talking to someone for 5 minutes, and you don’t just barely reach acquaintance level after spending time with someone for weeks or months.
I don’t want layering, but if Blizzard absolutely refuses to do anything at all about the bots plaguing the game, they are the ones crashing the train early. Bots are a much bigger hindrance to Classic than queues or layering, partly because they are now essentially responsible for both queues and laying in addition to the effect they have on the in-game economy. battlegrounds and mob/node spawns.
Some people need to be on specific realms at specific times for raids and other events. If a realm has a 4 hour queue time, then literally everyone on that realm will need to sit in an hours long queue just to log on to raid. Heavens forbid they sit in that queue and miss the log-in prompt because they didn’t want to stare at the queue screen for 4 hours straight.
It harmed BL campers both bot and player alike. But it didn’t remove bots. There are still bots everywhere. The problem is far from solved.
