That’s never what they’re asking for though. So I respond that way to what they’re asking for. I’ll always agree with people saying winning a higher difficulty appearance should always reward the lower ones.
Yes, cause I do want to wait 3 expansions to be able to solo it myself, just because you act like a baby about LFR gear
A transmog roll button is an abysmally bad solution for a game mode where there is a high probability every item is going to be needed for an upgrade. We need to just go back to personal loot where you could not loot a boss and retrieve what you won from the mailbox. There would be fewer threads like this.
I mean, the ilvl is still there too. This ultimately keeps coming back to the same thing though: You don’t decide what they are allowed to roll, and it is not morally wrong to not funnel gear to you at their own expense.
They’d need to change people being able to see the rolls then as well. If I see 9 people rolling transmog and 2 rolling need, there’s zero reason for me to hit the mog button if I’m there for that appearance.
This I disagree with. But people do it in real life too, and it’s making the world a lot nastier too. Instead of looking to create laws that make parasitic-level selfish behaviour sub-optimal, they shrug their shoulders and point the shamey finger at the people doing the optimal.
People don’t need to be screamed at for playing a game selfishly. They pay money to play it. They should do whatever they want within the limits of the rules.
But it’s insane that the game allows it.
Frankly, every time you roll need on a downgrade, the game should keep track of it. And if you rolled need on the SAME downgrade again (meaning you needed the item, vendored it, and needed on it again) it should count x100. This is the fairest solution that will allow transparency about behaviour to rectify the situation.
It would partially solve the problem about people whining about not getting loot that is not theirs. Like I said, you could just not loot a boss and what you win goes to your mailbox. No one can bother you about trading your winnings.
Or it takes hours to show up. That often happens on last boss of a wing when someone doesn’t roll and you gotta move on to the next wing. Even though you know you won, item takes a loooong time to show up.
Still circles back to me having to go through hoops cause he’s mad about LFR GEAR, again, LFR GEAR…
