Nah I mean people with decent dungeon scores. IE we are doing a 13 and they timed a 12 for that dungeon.
People derp all the time. It’s normal. The game punishes you for mistakes excessively. And the rewards are so awful that they make the content not even worth doing.
Hey, best of luck! My group is cross-realm so I won’t ever do Mythic current content, but Heroic is more than enough for me. I do my occasional M+ as well, and I just did my first +15 yesterday. Failed it, of course, but it was our first and it was in Sanguine Depths so I don’t think I can feel too upset about that. Now that we’re closer, I’m interested in pushing more M+ since I want to be sure I get the meta mount.
We’re on Heroic Denathrius tonight, and I’m really hoping we’ll get him down. We cleared the rest of Heroic in about two hours or so, so we have three hours to work on him tonight!

Heroic is a difficult raid no question. Makes it fun though. Nothing wrong with failing a 15. They aren’t that easy and require solid play. Some of the timers on dungeons are super tight.
SD is a killer no matter what week. This week there are a few packs in there that will destroy a group if they aren’t ready for them. On tyrannical weeks the third boss is a huge healing check and can be a key killer too.
M+ is fun and pushing is a great challenge to take up some play time. The mount is really cool and a worthy reward. Keep at it.
Sire took us a little bit. We had the most trouble controlling the adds in phase 2 while still doing enough dps to transition to phase 3 before we hit another add phase in phase 2. Good luck and have fun! It’s a great feeling when you finally get him down.

Cross your finger. YOu may beat it or you may not. If you are doing +13 and you chose players with below +12 and not on time, ouch. Gray area. How about I make this group on +13 Plaguefall: All has done +15s except for 2 guys but they have +12 with ** (2 asterisks on Plaguefall). Asterisks on RIO has meaning. If their +10 and above successful runs is 20, compared to people with only 2 or 1 on +10 and above successful runs, I would chose people who has more runs.
Scan RIO correctly. It would lead you on getting the right guy.
Dude yesterday I pugged like 7 M+ dungeons. 2 NW 12s and 2 13s. Every single time, something went wrong. Someone messed up and we failed. Every. Single. Time. I did a 13 SD successfully and then we did a 14 PF and that failed because someone messed up. Also did a 13 DOS and again, we had a few mess ups that ruined the timer.
It’s always like 1 or 2 mistakes. And it’s inevitable. Feels like playing roulette.
BTW ppl who have timed a 15 don’t queue for 13s.
PF doesn’t have that tight a timer. You can time it with a couple wipes unless your dps is low. DoS has a super tight timer and allows for almost zero mistakes unless your dps is just absurd. You need to hit the last boss with ~3+ minutes left to reliably time it. NW has a pretty tight timer but overall you can wipe a couple times but that’s with adequate dps.
That’s the #puglife in M+.
Our pf failed because the mage straight rage quit. This is another added layer of difficulty in pugging you do not seem to grasp. Your probability of success is just way lower overall.
I pugged 99% of my keys for KSM (and all the way up to KSM ) so yes, I do grasp how it works in pugs. You can’t control other people and that’s the pug life.
The only thing you can do is move on to the next one and not group with that person again. You can stay pissed off or you can get over it. Sounds like you like to be angry about everything.

Right?! This morning in Maldraxxus a bunch of us kinda tacitly united w/o pug to do quests. It was the first time I had real fun playing this expac.
If you already have mythic gear and a fotm class, it helps a lot. Go reroll warlock and pug your way to ksm without any help from guild. I will allow you to occassionally group with 1 friend’s alt (must be normal ilvl), which is what I do. Lmk how it turns out.
Enjoy being rejected for hours only to get into a group that fails because one dude messed up. Then do it all over again like 7 or 8 times hoping to finally make it! What a blast! Super fun!
Remember I said you have to carry them. Carry them to cover their 2 mistakes and the group could win.
All my PuG runs have mistakes. But I am doing my best to cover mistakes.
The reason why I play Hunter is becoz of my FEIGN DEATH. Becoz I usually dont die on Wipes. Becoz my death contributes to TIMER Penalties. I see to it that I have ZERO DEATH.
M+ trash mobs are harder than the Bosses. So I am spec’d to clear the trash mobs though I am still decent on Boss fights. I am expecting a PuG group to mistakenly pull another group of mobs. I make sure my CC goes in first (Binding Shot) and/or tar traps while misdirecting all the mobs to the tank before I nuke. If I nuke first instead of doing CC’s, the mobs would focus on me and since the healer heals me, the high threat is redirected to the healer. I just dont sit there DPS’ing. SOmetimes, I run to the player being mauled and throw Bursting Shot to knockback mobs on him.
There are stuffs you could do not just DPS’ing if you are a DPS’er. If you cant carry your group, you would be frustrated with PuGs.
No one is saying pugging isnt harder. It obviously is. The problem is you are calling for action to be taken when all the things you’ve mentioned are community driven or your own ability.
Either the content is faceroll and therefor not fun for anyone who remotely wants a challenge, or youre going to need to have some organization and players you trust. There really isnt any way around this.
I had KSM before I had mythic gear so i dunno what you are talking about. Also i’ve been playing hunter for a bit now before SL was released so it’s been a bit more than a month.
Make your own groups and push your own keys. You can’t be rejected from your own group/key. Just saying. Also being rejected from keys is pretty common as a hunter as well. I can spend hours being rejected from keys as well and is pretty common. Either the group already has a hunter or they fill before they get to my name. It’s a marathon not a sprint.

How are you going to cover for a guy popping turtle and zerging into all the orbs after severing smash, murdering your entire group?
How are you going to cover a dude missing hook on stitchflesh when he’s down, and the other guy not being in line during fixate? How will you cover him standing there and dying? How will you cover someone missing the hook to bring him back down right away?
How will you cover a dps dying to tentacle on margrave?
How will you cover someone not dodging spears on spires?
All of these can and will ruin your run.
First your strat is wrong because you shouldn’t have that many orbs in the first place. You can outrange the smash and not get as many orbs.
Missed mechanics is part of pugging and nothing you can do about it. Just move on and try again.
Stay pissed off or get over it and do it again.

Your solution is “just have friends lol”. Cool story. The game is being catered to the handful of people who still have friends addicted enough to play.
When are you going to get it through your head that I pugged my way to KSM and quit with spewing your nonsense.
