Not because of Dungeon Finder, but because of how this community is responding. I hate to defend Blizz, but I do feel their decision to keep LFG out of WOTLK Classic is in a spirit of keeping the game in a more “old school” “classic” way, and not in the way it was before. I’m not a try hard parsers pro gamer 100% #nochange whatever player, just a WoW player who enjoy a more traditional approach to MMORPG than what retail has become… I’m just one person, but probably not the only one. I truly hope blizzard wont revert back on their decision, and will continue to try and keep classic a more “traditional” style MMORPG, otherwise, we will soon have LFR, class pruning, Transmog, etc. etc. The outrage around QOL features is what led us to this retail game, which is enjoyable by a lot of people don’t get me wrong, it is OK to like or LOVE retail, totally fine with this! But there also are peopleout there who prefer more traditional style MMORPG. Hoping blizz wont budge.
SoM is “old school” " Classic", add 58, 70 boost is “old school” " Classic", remove arena team rating is “old school” " Classic", remove RDF is “old school” " Classic".
Don’ t u people not “old school” " Classic"?
Ain’t you thankful?
There is no “outrage”…
Just like 4-5 whiners on the classic forum re-posting threads and flaming Blizzard amongst themselves…
If everybody just didn’t have an opinion we could finally have nice things. Consume consume consume.
That number is closer to 200, but yes.
I didnt say i supported all their decisions…
their decision cost them a lot of boost money so im ok with that i just wont play classic wrath.
and that is fine, not one is forcing you to play
it is because blizzard is losing money.
I agree for the most part. A lot of the posts are from users with less than 100 posts and many have never been seen on these boards before the announcement. Its really just a handful of people being overly emotional over a video game and trolling on alts.
Maybe a little harsh, but Activision Blizzard has made their own bed. It’s hard for me to sympathize. They have a history of not listening to the community. Yes, some players are always going to take it too far, even if they were trying to please. Buuuuuut, they aren’t. They have kinda spit in their players’ faces repeatedly over the years so I’m not too surprised that people are angry and upset and being extremely vocal about it.
i agree with you on that, it’s just sad…
Imagine thinking the removal of DF is social and engaging content. This basically forces people to transfer to a mega server more then even before. On a mega server you know hardly anyone they’re is no community. Personally I’m ok with that. However removing DF in defense of community is complete denial of reality.
False. RDF has nothing to do with retail. Retail is the reason why retail is the way it is. Bad expansion after bad expansion. Borrowed power system, removal of talent tree’s, class homogenization, list goes on. RDF is not on that list.
FF14 is doing amazing atm is it not?
FF14 has RDF.
Ad Hominem and cope. It is the MAJORITY of players lmao. Go to any social media platform right now and open your eyes. Look at the mounting number or polls, all of which, without exception are in favor of LFD in Wrath. You can want what you want but you are deluding yourself if you think it is a vocal minority.
Oh look its exactly the kind of poster that I described!
A lot of these tantrums remind me of the pro-flyers going crazy back in the day (with the periodic flare up every time a new expansion drops and Blizzard continues restricting it).
I honestly couldn’t care less one way or the other if Blizzard introduced LFD during the equivalent of when it was implemented originally or kept it out altogether but it’s hardly the earth shattering change some of the people here are making it out to be.
With how fast the “go go go” modern gamer mindset has resulted in content being blown through, ain’t nobody going to need to spam a ton of 20 minute snooze fest heroics anyway for badges for last tier’s gear because they’ll have plenty of gear clearing the newest raid starting on each phase’s week 1.
Oh look, you still have no point!
I think I made mine already, you wouldn’t of chimed in otherwise.
