This is what i do too…when i’m forming the group i whisper someone i ask them if they are looking for plus or reg or i’ll tell them i need a healer or dps for plus or reg H XXXXXXX. If they whisper me saying they want into the group i tell them it is plus or reg wait for their reply before i hit invite. If i’m looking for a group and i get whispered i tell them if i’m looking for a plus or a reg. If i need to get into a group really bad (ie i’m short on time) i’ll take the invite first then once in party i’ll ask if its plus or reg.
Pretty much i’ll ask plus/reg before i discuss location or anything else…
It’s good that you appreciate all that socializing. Now I understand why Blizzard didn’t add a separate listing for H+. Not having the option forces us to have lots of positive interactions with strangers.
Human beings tribal nature has lasted 200,000 years. It’s about time a positive force like Blizzard changed that.
I don’t think that’s true, but they were definitely made more challenging to form due to poor integration with the LFG tool. Primarily, the omission of a H+ category in LFG has single-handedly led to the OPs disaster. To a secondary degree, allowing people to apply for groups they are locked to appears to have had an impact as well.
Additionally, having the group description directly show on the listing (without requiring a mouse over) would be a significant improvement.
If only there was some kind of automatic group finding system that left no room for miscommunication or misinterpretation for the content you’re looking for that would group said people and put them where they need to be HMMMM if only something like that existed at some point at some time that people used and could use now. Oh well.
