"this action is restricted" when trying to use AH or trade. Why?

Anyone else getting this error? It happened this morning then suddenly I could use the AH only for it to happen again tonight

Thought they had fixed it, but I was wrong I guess, can’t send mail, can’t list auctions, can’t do any of that, this is by far the worst phase launch so far in SoD, everything is so broken its not even funny.

 I commented on Aggrend’s twitter post about “the joys of Thursday release,” he dm’ed me asking about the issue, asked me to relog
 after that he said he talked to someone else and that the “issue” was “resolved” but there was a problem with the cache and that I would need to log out for at least 15 minutes. Did that and I could AH and trade again. He acknowledged that it wasn’t the best answer, but it 100% worked.

Read elsewhere to log out for 15 minutes. After hours of not being able to use AH/trade/mail I tried this and it worked. Possibly related to cache but in any event, the 15 minute log out worked.

Clearly this is a bug that makes hardcore self-found mode active on SOD.

I wonder if this is the bug connected to not being able to loot the egg shell or azsharan prophecy in the incursion. I currently cannot. Can’t trade. Can’t us AH.

Still broken for some, myself included, on Hardcore - NOT self found. Was broken, then worked, then broken again. Some guildmates can mail, some cannot. I have disabled all addons (last night) and still broken this morning

I am also unable to: trade, use the auctions, utilize mail in game (other than receive). I have uninstalled and re-installed the game, logged out for hours, cleared the cache, etc. Nothing works, all characters ‘This action is currently restricted’. The game is basically unplayable for me.

i have had no problem using the ah or trade on my SoD character, i did not do the incursion first day and misses the glitch , wonder if this has anything to do with it, strange to see so many say cant use ah or trade but i can like normal

The log out for 15 mins solution definitely doesn’t work for everyone. I’ve been restricted all day, tried every solution. Cleared cache, deleted WTF, losing all my addon data as a result. Nothing. Disabled all addons, nothing. Logged out for more than 15 mins on multiple occasions, still restricted account wide, it’s not isolated to one toon either. Very frustrating.

there’s no info, no ETA, nothing. Like this problem doesn’t exist. my guess is blizzard flags all accounts that mail or trade between characters (I mail all my loot to alt banks for example) and view them as bots until further investigation. All while I can still play, just did RFD for example, but I can’t interact with others. IT IS A SOFTBAN FOR BOTS/RMT, I"M 100% SURE OF IT, but there’s no information about it and devs are radio silent too. How I’m supposed to play with BAGS FULL? SELL ALL THE STUFF TO VENDOR?!

so yeah good luck to me waiting 3 days all just to remidn myself how bad blizzard support is nowadays.

gg, I’m thinking of quitting this phase rn

$30 well spent I guess all for blizzard to not ban the real bots to keep numbers of active subs.

Same thing happening to me. Tried all the hotfix nothing work. Cant use AH or trade gold. Wanted to lvl my profession this weekend wow !!!
